Amazing that this brand gets that people with allergies want to be in the woods. I highly recommend as the food line is actually tastier than other brands on the whole and they are competitively priced while offering a full nut-free packaging plant and product.So this is a taster pack. Anyone who is saying it isn't large enough for you to survive on is right but they are silly. It is a taster pack...With that said, figure out which ones work for you. We had fun doing a full on taste test event. Now we know which 5 or so we will be buying to go on our spring hikes.Seriously, what is with these clowns who think each pack was meant to be an individual meal?

The taste is great with nice balance of spice.It’s healthy. Some of the vegetables take longer to rehydrate. If you are looking these you are health conscious but they are small portions. You need to make two for a meal.

They all taste similar & have the same texture. I'm not a fan. Several were not edible due to taste. Others i forced myself to eat. Buy another brand. This one gets a thumbs down from this lifetime vegetarian.

These are really easy to make. Just take out the little packet from inside the bag, add boiling water, and wait. Great backpacking food.I haven't tried all the varieties yet, but all the ones I have tried have been tasty. The nutritional info looks solid, too. They don't seem overly filled with sodium like a lot of convenience foods.

If you look at the size of each meal, this is half the size of the meals individually. 2 oz versus 4 oz. I cancelled my order and have not tried the flavors. This would be too small for an adult full meal if using for backpacking or other strenuous activity. I was excited about the flavors and meals, but portion is just too small.

I really wanted to like these. My wife and I will often take dehydrated meals when camping - we bring an electric kettle and a measuring cup, and we're usually ready to go. Our usual go-to meals are made for two, and cost less than these, which makes these very expensive.The flavor is okay - a bit heavy on the Indian-cuisine flavor. Many of the envelopes have a decal that state 'Improved Recipe' - I have to wonder why that was necessary. Also, our favorite meals have a 30 year shelf-life - these are comparatively short - some at less than 18 months. That's unimpressive.Ultimately, given the small portion size and high price tag, I can't recommend these. There are better options available.
