They work great.
I’ve had more success with these than I have with all other types of traps added together. It helps that I’m in a target rich environment. Sometimes they are finicky to set but keep at it and the moles will come. I’m in sandy soil but I could see these hard to set in clay. Might need a spade to cut in where the pinchers go into the ground.

Junk
These are so much harder to work with than the traditional steel scissor type. They don't install as easy as the others and there are constant false trips of the trap. 0/10. Go for the other type.

Works and is easy to use
Caught 4 in 2 days and haven’t caught any since then but no new mounds in my yard!!! Definitely step on the mole tunnel where you’re putting the trap before hand then put the trap down and step on the trap. That simple and it works great. Recommend spending the money getting these traps vs others since I’ve bought other traps and they would dig under or around them traps. Very heavy duty will last for years if I need them again. Second review now. Caught about 30 or so in mine and my nieghbors yards in roughly 6 weeks. These traps really do the trick!

Setting traps are a problem.
I bought these traps in Michigan to bring to my Florida house. Just tried to set them and the one is way to sensitive it won’t stay set and the other is hard to set it wrecks the tract. Is there any way to adjust the tension? My daughters works great.
