These are viscose bamboo which have the best heat transfer abilities out of all the cloth materials I've studied. Basically heat goes from the neck/heat and gets disbursed through the material, and disbursed into the enviroment. The pillow case works very well for this. If you're getting the pillow case for this purpose, i recommend getting the large size since there's more material to distribute the heat.Tip: there are some materials that may feel cooler, like those pillows with the gel topping, but that's because they have a high heat resistance, so the enviroment doesn't heat it up as quickly, so it feels cooler. But once that material heats up, it stays very warm. Materials with low heat resistance, like viscose bamboo, readily absorb and release heat.I got the navy blue one, it was darker than in the profile picture, and I liked that since I use the extra pillow case to cover my eyes as a light mask.Silky texture.This is a tentative review. Looking at bamboo sheets online amazon reviews, some of them fall apart within a few months after washing so will keep an eye out for that. But so far working out most excellent. Viscose bamboo definitely lives up to the hype for disbursing heat. Will update review in a few months if anything changes.

I don’t think I have ever reviewed something that is this great. First off, these DO get wrinkled super easily (if it bothers you, just iron on a low setting.) But, after a few night of use, the wrinkles are gone. Now onto the positives... It feels like SILK!!! I, obviously, was skeptical when I bought these but oh my goodness, they’re SO silky! Silk and Satin pillow cases tend to keep heat in (in my experience, I wake up sweaty), but these stay cold! They feel super refreshing and they’re perfect for summer! They do stain, though (sleeping on wet hair that has been dyed...) so be aware of that. But you can easily bleach them or use a stain remover.

I was a "hardcore cotton user" my whole life, until I tried this product.You'll love this fabric. Cooler, softer, and luxurious. Way better than any cotton pillow case money can buy.Now of course, at this price point you can't expect quality of craftsmanship. I find it to be adequate for the money, but the stitching are far between and a bit weak looking. I think they will last anyway.Only bad thing about this is that I'll be buying the sheets too, so now I'll have unneeded pillow cases.Buy it! You'll be shocked, what a difference vs cotton.

I love bamboo sheets and pillowcases. They're cool and in my opinion better for the skin. These particular pillowcases are sateen weave rather than percale - so that means they have a slight sheen and a more buttery, slick texture rather than the "crisp" feel of percale weave (just in case you prefer the latter, like I do). I really love the color. They're big enough to just fit standard size pillows without a lot of extra fabric. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.

I am SO GLAD I discovered Hotel Sheets Direct's bamboo sheets and pillowcases!! I only wish I'd found them much sooner in my life. They are high quality, they're some of the most affordable 100% bamboo bedding available, and they really do keep you cooler! I did a test one night with my new-ish shredded memory foam pillow, and slept on it without the HSD bamboo pillowcase - just the knit bamboo-blend cover that came with it. And yep, I woke up in the middle of the night with my head and neck much too hot! I never have that problem with one of these bamboo pillowcases on it. The fabric has a lovely sheen and soft, somewhat silky-smooth feel before washing, then after washing feels softer and a little less silky, and looks less satiny but still has a bit of a glow to it.I tried a sheet set first, in their gorgeous Burgundy (which is a proper burgundy color - deep and rich, and slightly on the cool side with the faintest hint of plum), and had a bit of a shrinking issue with just the sheets after washing according to instructions; the HSD customer service person who responded to my email asked a few questions, then sent me a new top and bottom sheet, which arrived quickly. I had no issues with those, so apparently it was just a fluke of manufacturing, or of my washer and/or dryer. I loved the way they felt, and loved the way they helped keep me cooler at night in this hot summer even more. So I bought another set of the burgundy pillowcases, and then a couple more sheet sets in Gray and Dark Gray, with extra pillowcases to match. Now I also have their duvet cover in Gray, which I bought to cover my new silk-filled duvet - it's a gorgeous pale silvery color and goes with everything. I'll probably get the sheet set in Sand soon. And I've sent sheet sets to three friends as gifts!I like to have extra pillowcases because my face is sensitive, so I change them more often than the sheets, and because I use two pillows, one for sleeping on my back and a thicker one for when I roll over onto my side, so it's great that these are so affordable for a pair. I also use a pair of the king-size pillowcases for a body pillow cover, one over each end and overlapping in the middle. (Really hoping HSD will offer their pillowcases in the 20" x 54" size soon!) Also, with bamboo fabric, because it wicks moisture and oils - which is what keeps you cool and non-sweaty and prevents skin from drying out - rather than absorbing them like cotton, the pillowcases do have oil marks on them after a night or two, just like with silk fabric. For me this is not a big deal, though, and all the benefits of bamboo far more than make up for that. If it bothers you a lot, the black or white colors would probably not show them much, if at all.One benefit of these bamboo pillowcases over silk is that they aren't as slippery, so your head is less likely to slide off your pillow during the night, and your pillow is less likely to slide off the bed. And they're still much better for your hair and skin than cotton, since cotton absorbs the moisture from them and dries them out.Anyway, these are amazing and you should buy some right now - seriously, they keep selling out of them!

My friend in Australia sent me bamboo pillowcases for a gift. After using them for a few months, I went right to Amazon to see if other bamboo bedding was available. Of course, it was; I had just never heard of it before. So I ordered a sheet set for my full bed, and now I just found pillowcases to match and ordered two more standard pillowcases. These sheets and pillowcases are pure comfort--100% bamboo--no microfiber. The best thing about 100% bamboo here in the American upper Midwest is that bamboo is thermoregulating,--cool in summer heat and warm in winter. In addition, they are soft and smooth unlike flannel in the winter. Flannel has "drag." If you are older or for some other reason have difficulty moving, these make it much easier to get in and out of bed and turn during the night. I have since found that wearing bamboo sleepwear enhances sleep comfort even more. I'm sold on bamboo!

Amazing quality, Yes it wrinkles but you must expect that when you buy bamboo sheets they’re all wrinkled but this is definitely one of the top quality in bamboo sheets. I have different brands and I never seen this level of quality.

I bought Bamboo California King Size sheet set which I love as they are silky without being slippery and they are very comfortable to sleep on. Unfortunately, I use a standard size pillows not King size so I had to order pillows to match.Like the sheets the pillows are excellent.
