I purchased this lap desk in February to use for a two day car trip to Florida. I wanted something to do puzzle books on and would also hold my phone. I ended up using it the whole trip there and home. It is very comfortable on the lap and I used it for snacks as well as the books. When I got home I put it aside for the next car trip, however I have found more uses at home. It perfectly fits the Diamond art kits sold on Amazon and I can have it in my lap while I watch TV. It also has a smooth surface which is great for writing on and haven’t found any flaws with it and has held up well with daily use. Does not slip from lap and is the perfect height and love the color. It will absolutely go on the next road trip again.

This is the perfect lap desk for me! The bean bag base is sturdy but also soft enough to mold to my legs however I'm sitting (incl. with crossed legs) to keep the desk surface flat. I like the barrier at the bottom to keep my laptop from slipping off, and the trough at the top is great for my phone, pens, etc.The real reason I bought it however...it matches perfectly with the pillows I have for the couch. When not in use, I can prop it up between the armrest and the wall and it blends in and doesn't look like clutter, which is especially great in our small space. So glad I found a lap desk that was functional AND cute.-Elana

I enjoy using this when I’m drawing and painting in front of the TV. It works really well and it is comfortable. You can even prop your phone in the little slot they have for that purpose. It’s the perfect size. I recommend it.

The surface smooth and sturdy. It's lightweight but very stable. The beanbag filling helps it mold to wherever you place it. i've used it on a couch, bed or outside on a patio adirondack chair. Love the subtle design. The phone holder is also a very nice though i don't use it much. it could be a bit wider, which would make using a mouse easier, but that's not a deal breaker.

I use this lap desk for so many things -- holding my iPad, book or magazine while I read, assorted writing tasks, sorting mail, and holding dishes for quick meals and snacks while watching TV. It is well made, lightweight, and attractive. The desk surface is easy to clean and just the right size for my use, plus there is a nice fabric handle that makes it easy to grab and a ledge to keep books from sliding down. I use the elastic strip on the corner to hold papers in place and occasionally uses the phone slot to hold my phone or small note pads. I chose the lap desk with the woodgrain surface and the blue arrow stripe fabric, and it looks great. This was a great replacement for my previous lap desk used for 20+ years.

During early Covid, I was working from home for 2 months. I had set up a goofy office at home using my recliner, a table, a cordless keyboard/mouse and my computer with monitors from the office. I needed a good way to type on my lap. I had another lap desk with a more firm pad underneath, and it was just too wide for my recliner. I thought it was "good" - and then I got THIS!For starters, the pad underneath is like a beanbag. Its lightweight and the stuffing moves according to how you want it situated on your lap. You can do countless angles and rearrangements with this. It's WONDERFUL. The patterns they have are attractive, and this is a really well-made product. When working from home using the wireless keyboard, I could use the phone slot for my phone. Now, I have a laptop on the lapdesk, and the phone slot isn't as useful. I now use this lap desk for eating while sitting in my chair in front of the TV, making lists/writing, using my laptop.I purchased one for each of my parents. They are 76 and 79 years old. Mom plays and writes emails on her ipad with stand using this, writes bills, etc. She loves it. Shortly thereafter (fathers' day) I got one for my dad. He uses it to play on his ipad and also eat in his chair. They love these so much that I had to buy them each another so they had one to keep in Michigan and one in Florida.I can't say enough GREAT things about this lap desk. This particular pattern (the black argyle) is really attractive for men - and about the only pattern available that is really man-ish.If you're looking for an amazing gift for your parent, spouse, kids... this is it. They may not think anything of it when they open it - but after they use it, they'll be singing your praises! It's a wonderful product!! Don't cheap out and buy something that's less expensive... I promise you, this is worth every penny!

My daughter is confined to a wheelchair in a nursing facility. She needed a tray to place her food and other things on in front of her, but her electric reclining wheelchair wouldn't accommodate anything except this. It fits perfectly in her lap. Plus, the soft, cushioned underside is comfortable and prevents chafing. It's a God send! The only improvement it needs is to secure the handle with more than just staples, which causes it to come apart easily.

This Lap Desk is sturdy, attractive and seems well-made. It fits my 15 inch laptop quite well. if I move the laptop to the far left of the lap desk, I can use my mouse.

It's nice and big,super comfortable, and incredibly easy to use and light weight. Perfect for my computer.

Daughter wanted a lap desk to be able to do homework on and this one fit the bill. She can use it for paper work or using her iPad. She finds it keeps her phone in place and her iPad and finds it comfortable while laying in bed. Nice finish and seems to be pretty strong.

I got this for a friend recovering from surgery. They said it's been indispensable for being able to draw and write in bed! Now I might even get one myself :)
