I love Leslie Wilder’s writing, and I’ve been a fan of hers since she released her first book. She writes sweet, sexy, suspenseful romances, and her heroes are bad boys who are good guys. It’s an addictive combination, and I’m always anxious for Wilder’s next book.Max’s Redemption is the second book in the Redemption series. Max and Harper grew up together, and he was her brother’s best friend and practically a member of the family. In high school, Max and Harper fell in love. After Max graduated, he left for the military and everything changed for him there in the blink of an eye. In the wake of tragedy, Max makes a difficult decision to end things with Harper, and it’s ten long years before they see each other again.I love a second chance romance, and this one was fantastic. Max and Harper were still very much in love with each other, and both of them were still feeling the pain of losing the other. Max has some work to do to win Harper over, and he puts in that effort in totally swoon-worthy fashion. A suspenseful background plot with a twist I did not see coming along with sizzling chemistry round this story into an exciting, passionate, emotional read that I could not put down.

Max’s Redemption was the second book in L Wilder’s Redemption Series, a spin-off from her Satan’s Fury series.Max Lanheart was the gorgeous second in command to Nitro, book one. He was ex military and had a story that he was running from, yet he never forgot his one and only love.Harper Campbell was the beautiful author that came through loss and tragedy on the other side. She grew up with Max, who was her first love and first heartbreak but she hadn’t seen him for ten years.Wilder took us through the early years and then what tore them apart. She then fast forwarded ten years to their chance meeting. The storyline held a suspenseful vibe, true to Wilder’s style, but the primary focus was on Harper and Max reuniting.In the end, it was a quick and sweet read. My assumption is that we’ll now get Ryder or Jay’s story next as well as a deeper resolution to the secondary storyline that was brewing underneath. Either way, I’m all in and can’t wait.

This book was amazing! Once I started it I couldn't put it down. I'm still reeling from the depth of characters, the heartbreak, the laughter, the tears, and the amazing world I was thrust into by the talented L. Wilder. I love second chance romances, but this one blew it out of the park. I loved, loved Harper and Max together. They were truly meant for each other and the chemistry between them was off the charts. Max is a sexy alpha who also has a tender side for the woman he's loved since they were teens. Harper is a strong heroine which is a huge plus for me. The way Ms. Wilder writes is beautiful, and I was brought into Max and Harper's world--feeling what they were feeling, When I get lost in a book and feel as though I'm part of the characters' world, that is a GREAT read. And Max's Redemption fits the bill. I will definitely be reading this book again. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it!

Book two of the Redemption series. This is a spin-off series from the Satan's Fury MC series but can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone. Told in dual POV with HEA. Max is security for a business that deals in illegal activities which makes his lifestyle dangerous. Harper was Max’s best friends’ younger sister, and his first love. Max and Harper have a chance meeting after not seeing each other in ten years. Their story is told first in the past and then in the present. Their second chance was told well! I loved how Max was all in, and even more I loved how Harper’s past heartbreak wasn’t going to hold her back from the future she wanted. The best epilogue ever!!

Love, Loved it. Second Chance Romance at its best. Max's Redemption is wonderful book. I love that we get to go back and see how they fell in love as teenagers and what happened and why Max pushed her away. I absolutely loved Harper and Max. I understand what it feels like to feel guilty for something you feel was you fault or you should have prevented. To think your not good enough for someone you love with all your heart and make the choice to walk away. The fact that Max and Harper get a second chance to see if they can rekindle their love again was beautiful. I am a forever Leslie Wilder fan. I think this just might be her best book. I know I love my bikers but Max sure had all the feels. I gave it super 5 stars.

I love a good second chance romance, and this one was very good! And there was a pretty good twist in there.We met Max in Damaged Goods (Redemption #1) and I know I fell a little bit in love with him! But that was nothing compared to the love I have for him now. Getting to know Max from his teens and seeing everything he went through that brought him to meeting Nitro and going to work for him really brought an extra layer to his character. And I loved Harper, as well. I hated what she had to go through in her younger years but I think it went a long way towards making her such a strong woman.This was a fantastic story with a fantastic, but somewhat unexpected, ending!!!

This is book 2 and it's about the beginning with Max, Harper and her brother Brody. Max's dad is ex-marine and when he was medically discharged he was never the same. So Max spent most of his time with Brody his best friend and his little sister. They were getting pretty tight and max and brody joined the Marines. Needless to say things don't go as u planned. So he ended up with Nitro from book 1 and as they say the rest is history. Until he runs in to Harper while she's staying in a cabin there. Loved the story line, there are of course sad times and danger with Max's job but there is a HEA.

Wow just wow Max’s Redemption is fantastic, I love how we still catch up with the characters from book one. L wilder never disappoints she’s done it again with Max’s Redemption I recommend this book to everyone.This is the story of Max and Harper, it’s full of Romance, love, alpha men, sadness and happiness, I couldn’t put this book down once I picked it up it had me from page one.What happens when you love your brothers best friend but he doesn’t see you that way that is Harper’s reality. But when he finally sees her he joins the marines but when a terrible tragedy happens Max disappears so when Harper bumps into Max after ten years she’s can’t believe she’s actually seeing him after all this time. But the big question is can she be his friend like he wants after he broke her heart.Max can’t believe his luck when he sees Harper again and can’t let her walk away, but knowing how badly he hurt her he still has hopes she will be his friend or more cause he realizes he still loves her she’s always been his He just never thought he would get the chance at a second chance with her.

Fantastic book. Lots of action, fair bit of romance. Excellent follow up to book 1. Here's hoping for more, but failing that got more follow up books to read from Satans Fury MC, Memphis Chapter to fall back on. L. Wilder writes excellent MC books, recommended if you like MC booksSue P

While I thought at the beginning Harper won't give him a chance and I certainly didn't think he would leave nitro . I'm so happy he got what he deserved most . His very own happy ending

Max didn't think he deserved a life with the woman who owned his heart until she showed back up in his life and showed him that he was her one and only brilliant can't wait for the next one

Love The Authors Work I hall all her stories . This story I love also no exceptions.Contemporary Romance. Book 2 but can be read as a stand-alone.Hero is Max. Heroine is Harper. I liked the character Max from the first story.He’s Loyal . Hardworking. And he will give his life for those he loves and protects .Harper is a love from his past before he meet Nitro (book 1 ) Max grew up near Harper . Max best friend was Harpers brother Brody . Both Brody and Max joined the marines and it was tough on them but they loved the life. A tragedy happened like it always does during war and Brody payed with his life .Max felt responsible. He was out of his mind with grief. After the funeral Max had to get away so he told Brody’s parents and Harper he’s going back into service, Max had to. Max didn’t go back. He stayed gone. 10 years later he sees Harper in a restaurant. You need to get it and see what story Max tells Harper .
