I *almost* didn’t buy it because I read the 1 star reviews. Now I think those reviewers used the tool improperly. Worked great.

A riveting story about a woman and her ridiculous craft projects.Ok. It was just a crown. Made out of a coffee can. For a crow party. It took about 6 rivets. But now I own a rivet gun. How many things suddenly need rivets? Everything. Everything needs rivets.

Intital review was a 2 based upon having a missing mandrel. When I recieved the replacement. the mandrel was missing again. Frustrated I took everything out of the box and found a sticker that indicated that the M8 mandrel is already installed in the Rivnut gun. Ugh. Packaging folks, put tthe sticker on the outside of the box not under all the conntents.That said. I used the tool today. it worked well. more pricey tools work more efficiently but for the money it is a good tool to have. I installed 8 M* and 8 8/32 rivnuts without a hitch. Of note: if you like order in the shop you will also need to buy a seperate container for the rivnuts themselves. otherwise they are loose in the already crowded box.Gave it 4 stars, not because of the sticker issue that on is on me. Rather, it is the box. is not engineered very well nor is it very surdy. It is vacuum molded of a very thin material, the latches are plastic and appear to be rather cheaply made. The box holds the tool ok hold but there are 13 mandrels with spaces for 12, one mandrel is loose in the box. The box itself looks like it will soon break.

These work great. I looked at several different ones and went with these. There is a slight learning curve to using it, but once you understand how to use it, it is flawless. Tool and mandrels are top quality. Drill your pilot holes and use a step bit. Works so good I keep looking for more places to add holes!

Bought the Auxtur in advance for a van conversion project. It only worked for one day. After (10) rivet nuts, it stripped and became useless. I had to go to Harbor Freight and buy another to finish the job. Was purchased on Amazon but could not return it because it was past the (30) days. I emailed Auxtur customer service, but they have not responded. Now I'm stuck with a $80.00 paperweight. Don't buy this product!

I have wanted a rivet gun for years. Now that I have one, I find myself using it all the time. It is easy to use and makes a very secure installation possible. Don’t put buying one off like I did. It really is helpful.

I rate this rivnut gun 5 stars. It's as good as the the guns I use at work, I am a structural technician at a major commercial airline. It pulls the rivnuts with ease and the adjustment is self explanatory. I recommend this product.

So far, so good. The product worked fine. My major concern was that there were no instructions on how t change the chuck. Something you need to do first. I had to go online and watch the video several times to figure it out. I also would think the Mfg would have thought more than to give it plastic latches on the case. Steel would have worked better.
