I used this as a replacement for the original that came with my Harbor Freight Bauer metal conditioning tool. Although it is larger, it fits without any modifications. It worked great stripping my car to bare metal. I have used two of these drums and have no issues. Highly recommend them.

I'm on the same page with the other 1 star reviews. Save your money and just buy the Bauer ones from Harbor Freight. The Harbor Freight wheels lasted almost half a car while these lasted almost 1 door. And yes, pieces were flying off right after I started.100% Not worth it. Get the Bauer, just do it!

Almost as good as the harbor freight version. But much less expensive.

So they are a little bigger than the hf wheels, they go on and work but they rub on the guard until they wear down a little. You can take the guard off the Bauer surface conditioner and file it a bit then elongate the fixing holes and then these larger wheels fit a treat. As for longevity seems to wear at the same rate as the hft one but lasts a bit longer as it starts off bigger. Pretty good for the price, don't push hard or you eat through them light pressure let the tool do the work. It's pretty much the fastest way to strip paint unless you have a massive industrial sand blaster.

Good: Fast shipment, good price, fit my Harbor Freight Bauer surface conditioning tool.Bad: You get what you pay for. This lasted about 1/10 of the time (1.5 hrs) the harbor freight one lasted. Bought the Bauer one the next day and it's going strong after 6 hours. Definitely different construction quality.I won't buy this one again.
