There are other products out there, but this is the OG sanitary wipe for prepping for an insulin pump infusion set site, or a CGM site where it is important to have a sticky enough surface for the device to sit and stay until it needs to be removed. This gets a 5 star because for ME it works well, but is not so sticky that I have to remove a layer of skin to remove the device at the end of it’s lifecycle.

These wipes assist in the process of adhering sticky devices to the skin. However I had a reaction to them and are unable to use them.

The prep pad does not stick as well as it use to. Sometimes I have to change my quickset and start over before having to change my reservoir. This is a concern because I am only allowed so many a month.

I've been buying these since 2003, when I purchased my first insulin pump. I use them to prepare my skin before attaching an infusion set. Since I added a Continuous Glucose Monitor in 2017, I also use them to prep my skin before affixing glucose sensors to the back of my arm. So, what's the big secret?These alcohol pads have an inactive ingredient (I'm not sure which one) that makes your skin slightly sticky. This helps to keep the aforementioned items securely attached to your skin. Most other brands of alcohol wipes don't have it. So, if you want your infusion sets and/or glucose sensors to stay put, I recommend using these. I don't remember when either of these items ever came loose after prepping with these pads, but that's me. Your mileage may vary.Oh, yeah - 4 stars instead of 5 because they were shipped in a blister pack (which isn't adequate protection).
