I ordered from the size chart but was a bit on the tight side, even for a compression short. So if in doubt, I'd recommend sizing up. The fabric is soft and it has a good stretch to it (so they do work, just a bit tight) and wicks the moisture as promised. The waistband tends to roll whenever doing ab work or bending which also was a surprise from this brand. Like them but not in love with them.

I would shop around as there are some deals to be hand in the dangle cradling crevices of the clothing world. This one is just fine - I did NOT get the LONG almost to the knee variety as those are annoying to me. I went with the shorter ones and it does exactly what it is supposed to do.We shall see how long these last...

These are very comfortable when you fit it on properly. I do like having these for bike riding and certain types of sports. However, if you want to have a looser fit, i suggest going up one size. The pouch in front is also smaller than one might expect so you do want to upgrade a size if you have larger than average sizes.
