Stays long without the residue -- worth the premium?
Despite being described as a cream with a whipped texture, it’s more of a lotion consistency. It spreads easily, absorbs well, and doesn’t leave a sticky residue, but it’s not as moisturizing or protective as I expected for the price of $33.78 per fl oz. The whipped texture does seem to help it stay on tough areas like elbows and knees, which might be what sets it apart from other moisturizers. That said, I do like that it feels fresh and has a clean scent.

Barrier Cream
As someone with oily skin, especially in the warmer months, I am really enjoying this cream. It is a bit lighter weight than I expected, not really a cream, but it is still moisturizing enough. This product absorbs into skin fairly quickly and doesn't feel heavy on the skin.

If I knew how to incorporate this into my skin care routine, i might be more impressed.
Long lasting moisture, and the scent is nice; it smells like a lotion. It's a little more perfumy than I care for, but still it's a very mild perfume scent, like what you might get in a body lotion. It's thicker and stickier than i thought it might be, but still it comes out fairly lightweight and spreads and absorbs quickly and easily. The stickiness vanishes after a few minutes, leaving behind skin that feels protected, yet a bit sticky and chalky. The feeling of hydration is there, but it vanishes. Plus, this cream does not have sun protection. For the price, not sure I would use it every day and evening as suggested. There are natural ingredients listed, but there are also a lot of other ingredients in the list and with those and the scent, I am not sure my sensitive skin would hold up in the long run. On the front of the box, it says Prior Skin Care. I was not savvy to this term, but I now know it means that the cream is something you would use before using other facial treatments. I don't know if the company has other skin care treatments that you would use after applying this cream, and if it did, how would you use those creams along with this one? It's suggested to use every morning and night, but this product is not a one-stop-shop kind of cream. Not sure how I would fit this into my healthy skin care routine. For storing this product, the label says to avoid sunbeams directly. Because of this, I would not feel good about wearing this cream on my face while out in the sun. If I knew how to incorporate this into my daily and nightly skin care routine, i might be more impressed.

Moisturizing Lotion for Dry Skin
Being out in the sun often, it's good to have a nice lotion on hand. The wind and sun can really wreak havoc on your skin. I expected this item to be more robust in nature, as it advertises itself for severely dry skin. However, when applying it, it's lighter than expected, and more of a lotion consistency than a cream. The scent is very mild, and it absorbs into the skin quickly and cleanly, leaving very little tackiness or residue. I use this on my face and neck, and it does feel like it hydrates and moisturizes. Seems like a solid lotion and so far there's no sign of irritation from using it.

Too smelly but ok
The scent turns me off. Not sure why. I don't particularly care for scented product unless they're well balanced but I tolerate most scented products well. This one just hit me in the nose and wouldn't let go. Consistency is nice, a bit gel lotion like which absorbs well. Does a decent job of moisturizing my skin but if your skin is super dry, you'll need something with more moisturizing powerful.

Effective Hydration For Skin That Needs A Little Pampering
This is a white colored lotion that I would considered unscented even though it has a light smell. I believe the scent is coming from the ingredients in the lotion, and not an artificial fragrance. The lotion is a little thicker, but very light at the same time. I expected it to be heavier upon my first impression, but was pleased to find that although it is super hydrating, it's a lightweight lotion.I used it after applying an acid peel face mask, so my skin was a little irritated. The cream was very soothing to the skin, and I felt like it calmed my skin down fast than other products I had used after this treatment. My skin was soft and supple to the touch, and it had a glow about it from using the mask and this facial cream. I could see this lotion being very nourishing and healing after a bad sunburn or a reaction to a product.I like that it also works to build up the skin's natural moisture barrier and therefore makes it healthier. I have sensitive skin and had no issues using this lotion. It also soaks in quickly, and while skin feels moist and hydrated, it is not sticky to the touch.

Hydrating, but not for severely dry skin
This looks, feels, and smells just like any generic unscented lotion product. Though unscented, it definitely has a strong smell that some people may find off putting. It doesn't bother me too much aince I'm used to the smell from undcented body lotions, and I son't feel like it lingers too long.I was expecting more of a cream or a whipped texture based on the description, but it is solidly a lotion consistency. There's nothing necessarily wrong with that - it spreads easily and absorbs well, not leaving any tacky or sticky feeling like some creams can. However, it doesn't feel as moisturizing or protective as I was expecting it to. It hydrates OK and does a good job if you have mostly healthy skin.I was using it at a time I had an issue with extremely dry, flaky skin and it did not do much to help allevite the issue. I used this cream in the morning and it did okay for a bit, but half way through the day my skin would be dry and flaky again. This was disappointing because the listing specifically says it's for people with dry, flaky skin. I finally got the issue under control and this cream has been quite good in general for providing hydration when my skin isn't exceedingly dry or flaky. The formulation is nice and in line with the current leading ingredients for hydration and skin barrier protection. If you're looking for a VERY light product that will serve you well for a small hydration boost but feels like it's not there at all, this is a really great product. But if you're needing something that will provide deep moisturization for very dry skin, you may want to look elswhere.
