10 years ago there was a big push o universalize all cell chargers. Apple said NO and Samsung thumbed their nose at the idea. So we have been switching to USB C with everything recently. My Samsung Tab A is USB C, my chromebook -USBC, Nintendo switch- USB C, my daughters LG Phone- USB C- We just upgraded from the S5 phones to the S7 s I was sure they would be USB C. WRONG. SO after the S5 fiasco with the stupid special high speed micro usb and extra plug I thought sure Samsung was going to get with the program (after all my new Tab A was USB C). Nope back to the USB micro. Uggh Im heavily invested in the USB C cables and have some real high end super durable super flex cables that are useless for my new phone. Well these little treasures make it possible (and easy) to use my USB C cables with my S7 phone. They are compact and plug in easy and stay put. I love the little key chain attached that I hooked right on to the cables so they are always available it needed. These support rapid charging (well as rapid as the micro allows) and I haven't gotten any Samsung stupid error about using a non OEM cable. If you have USB C cables but need to step them down to the micro then this is perfect.

I connected this to a cable that is USB-C / USB-C (basically the new connector type on both ends of the cable). It was connected to my laptop, that has USB-C output. When the cable is directly connected to my device (e.g. GoPro 6) it works - no problem. When I add this Micro USB to USB C adapter, it does not work at all. Clearly, the cable is fine, the laptop is fine, these adapters are not fine. I tried all 4 and no dice.NOTE: THe adapter works if the cable is a USB to USB-C connector, but that defeats the purpose

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 so I was very happy i finally found these to orders! I just received them today & THEY DON'T WORK!! They fit just right but once connected THEY WON'T CHARGE ANYTHING!!! I bought 2 packs to make sure I had enough & to have extras, so now I'm stuck with these!!!! Not very happy!!!! I tried all 4 that was in the one pack & all 4 didn't do anything!!!!

Charges slower than the average charging cable, let alone a fast charger. Although charging a phone slower does slow the wear on your battery. If you need fast charge this will not work for you, if you're looking to use an adapter that's half the length of every other adapter you've ever used, This is the only one I found

I got these so I could use the USB-C charger from my new phone to charge my bluetooth devices. It gets no power to anything I plug the Micro USB plug into. I don't get data either. It doesn't work wall charger to phone. It doesn't work phone to phone. It doesn't work wall charger to bluetooth headset.This product does not work at all with USB-C cables. Which would be the ENTIRE POINT OF GETTING IT.

We bought adapters to convert our old micro USB cables to USB C and our new USB C cables to micro USB, since we have a mix of devices that need one or the other. This way we can use just one set of cables in the cars for all devices. Retaining clip is a must-have so that the adapter doesn't get lost when you pull it off the cable to charge with the other connector. These work well.

So, you get what you pay for. Overall they get the job done. They don't actually do fast charging (ok, I don't know if they do Qualcomm fast charging, but they don't charge my Pixel 3 rapidly using the cord and brick that came with my Pixel 3 that do quickly charge it.)Also, these only work ½ of the time. I say half because they only work with my cord when they are plugged in the right way round which totally defeats the purpose of USB type C.So, do they work? Yes. Will they charge your stuff? Likely. Will they charge your stuff rapidly? YMMV. Will they break in a few months time? Maybe, but they are already cheap and come in a decent quantity, so you should be good.

These are absolutely great for charging your devices off your phone cord. They charge evenly and quickly. I buy these for myself and my family. Yes they are quality they are not cheap or inferior. Top-notch durability and workmanship. They last a long time and take a workload. The Price is Right.
