It was what I was looking for. Needed it for my AC unit.

This item replaced my 20 year old original contactor on the outside heatpump unit which had the part number of 3100-15q242.My original part was 40 amp 1 pole or 1.5 pole with 24 volt coil. My original part was American made. I hope this lasts at least 5 years. I will be surprised if it lasts more than 5 years.

This is built very well seems to be as good if not better quality as the original that came in my HVAC unit. My unit had been recently staying on even though the thermostat would be turned off. This was a very easy very cheap fix that anyone can carry out and save a lot of money if you're HVAC unit is having the same issue. Always remember to cut off the outside breaker to your HVAC unit and test make sure the power is off before handling any high voltage power lines. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with this I've only had it installed for about a week but so far so good!

This contractor is described as a 40 amp contractor with a 120v coil. What I received is an 40 amp contractor with a 24v coil. It will not match up with my need as it is the wrong voltage. The contractor appears to be very good quality with good size lugs and overall nice construction. Although it will not meet my present need I will keep it as a spare for my a/c unit as it operates on 24v control.

Good quality contactor that I needed for a rental, a/c unit that was having issues starting up due to burnt contacts and this was an easy install and it works as good as new again.
