maybe better than silk!
this bamboo rayon set is my first experience with bamboo linens and i am beyond impressed with this fabric! i was looking for something natural, soft, and cozy for my winter comforter so i got this duvet cover. most of all it reminds of habotai silk in softness and smoothness, but still it has enough weight to it to be your winter linens. i am a linen snob and i use pure silk charmeuse during hot time of the year, and until now i used flannel sheets for winter. this fabric is definitely better than flannel or cotton. compare to the former, bamboo does not have any of the fuzz or those tiny rolls that develop all over after the first two washes and stay forever. also it is way softer than flannel. compare to cotton, well.. though high quality cotton can't go wrong, but it will never feel as soft and luxurious as bamboo(sorry cotton!). this, in my opinion, is the silk's "less cool" brother. literally too - it does not feel nearly as cool as silk, but it does not feel hot either, and is very comfortable to sleep under, has a very pampering quality to it. don't forget the price of natural silk linens either! besides, you probably already read about all those hypoallergenic, anti-dust mites, extra sweat-absorbing, and other great qualities of bamboo fabrics. also this material perhaps is the most Eco-friendly that exists today. i will definitely recommend it to everyone i know!now, this bamboo rayon comes with somewhat long and detailed instruction of how to take care of it, like to use only fine fabric detergent, mild cycle, preferably air dry, etc. i say - and i treat my $400 silk sheets same way - use common sense in handling your finer natural bed linens. i wash them on "regular cycle" (silk on "gentle"), with classic Tide, in plenty of water - warm, not cold (but never hot!), and dry on "cooler air" in the regular drier. that's it. all comes out perfectly fine. By the way, the fabric when wet feels very hard, but it turns back to silky soft as it dries. also, if you leave it in the drier for too long after it dries it will get quite wrinkled, so plan accordingly if this bothers you and you don't feel like ironing. this duvet cover slips over the comforter much easier and faster than does flannel/cotton due to the smoothness of the fabric; there are discreetly located buttons on one side; there are no corner straps inside, but i so far had no problem whatsoever with the comforter shifting, the corners stay nicely where they belong.

It's like a sleeping under very white, very soft, very wrinkly cloud.
I heard bamboo is the new hotness, so ordered up this bad boy in white. I got the king size, and indeed it fits my king size duvet very well. The material is quite soft, as expected. The color is very white, with no pattern. The one I received has ties in three of the corners, but for some reason, it is missing ties in the fourth corner. I assume this is not by design, and although not a huge deal, it's worth mentioning. There are a number buttons at the opening to secure the duvet inside the cover, and that works well. The material was a little thinner than I was expecting coming from a 630 thread-count Egyptian cotton sateen duvet cover, but I have never tried bamboo before.I washed it on a delicate cycle using Woolite, and it came out fine. As is the case with bamboo apparently, it will wrinkle greatly if you don't take care in the drying process... I can confirm that to be true. I didn't want to use any heat, but I think I will have dry it on low heat next time to do it next time to avoid this. That will pertain to any bamboo fabric.I realize that shipping speed shouldn't really be part of the product review, but I wanted to mention this since I was hesitant to order it at the time with no Prime shipping available and I needed it in a timely manner. It shipped the same and arrived in just a few days without expedited shipping.

Gorgeous and high quality
When our favourite bamboo bedding company didn’t offer the duvet cover colour we wanted, we ventured out and tried this one even though we’ve been repeatedly disappointed by other bamboo bedding brands in the past. I’m so glad we gave these a chance; they may be a new favourite! The green is lovely and has a silvery quality. The bedding feels almost silky and cool to the touch. The duvet cover ties are sturdy and I didn’t feel the need to reinforce them as I have with other covers. It also arrived several days early, which was a wonderful surprise. I will likely purchase another one in a different colour soon!

Not for me. I wanted the soft feel feel modal offers
Personally this isn’t the Duvet cover I was hoping for. When I read the super soft description and saw this lovely deep teal color I was intrigued. I did research online, compared viscose and modal duvet comforter covers and the understanding I got was that they were pretty close to the same... however they are not at all in the way I was hoping viscose is nice and stays cool and is sort of soft in a more rayon way without any elasticity, modal i love more and just purchased a modal duvet comforter I am ultimately going to be happy in something less high maintenance (the viscose duvet and pillow shams are a pain in the booty to wash and dry bc if you don’t get them immediately from the dryer they are completely covered in serious wrinkles I spent at least an hour minimizing wrinkles..)I decided that my review of this bedding is a 4 because while it may not be the right bedding for me I am sure someone and many may really enjoy this product. Hopefully this review and photos help someone to get the perfect bedding either by getting this or reconsidering.

DO NOT BUY THIS - FALLING APART
I wish I had taken the bad reviews more seriously; I didn't think it would be so bad. The material itself actually feels pretty nice but beyond that it is just terrible. We are not rough users. We had other duvets before and it held up just fine over the years. The fact it wrinkles doesn't bother me that much. It's how it just falls apart in only over a year. First the button holes tear or rip so can't stay buttoned. Next other buttons are falling off. This is one of the worst purchases ever. I contacted the seller and the seller doesn't respond. Stay away from this.

Fantastic!
Super soft, very silky and excellent quality and value for the price. Would purchase again. I need another sheet set so I will look for this brand first again.

Regret buying it.
I would not buy this again. It is very heavy and it is at least 6 inches wider and longer than it should be to fit a regular king size duvet comforter. When it was delivered by Canada Post I was charged an extra $35.00! Not worth the money!
