Our retainers are created from one layer of 1mm Essix Plus material. Essix plus differs from our standard Essix by being stronger and clearer. This item is for one retainer, upper OR lower retainer. The material is the same thickness as our Essix retainers, but will hold up to more abuse than standard Essix material. Essix plus is also clearer than standard Essix material making it less noticeable. Our retainer are designed to prevent the teeth from moving or shifting after braces, orthodontic work, or Invisalign. This product will not move the teeth. I can’t believe i didn’t do this when i lost my retainer the first time. These are AMAZING and so much cheaper than any one you would get at the orthodontist!

Stronger plastic than the one from my dentist.
Customer service was good, they helped me get casting right the second time, but i had to pay $15 for the repeat.

Not sturdy enough to maintain straight teeth
I bought this product to replace a broken retainer that I’ve worn since I got my braces off twenty years ago. Unfortunately it didn’t work to keep my teeth straight and they started shifting within a week. The customer service was great and the product seemed well made, hence the two stars, it just wasn’t sturdy enough to keep teeth in place so I had to have a new retainer made by an orthodontist.

Easy as a replacement, but badly done
It is a good alternative when you loose your retainer if you want to save money. But mine did not quite fit in my mouth. It is kind of crooked.

Best fit
These are the best fitting retainers I’ve ever had. And Comfortable.After a good year of wearing these retainers, I got an email from the company giving me a price reduction for a reorder. So now I have a back-up pair on hand.Amazingly, the first pair still fits like new. By far the best retainers I’ve ever had. I will always wear them at night going forward. (A must have for me). Hope they keep my records on file for along time.
