What a useful little gem!!! I bought two of these. One for a lamp, and the other for my subwoofer. I found the scanner symbol in the instructions and used my phone to use it to go to the Tuya website and download the app. Stupid-proof to set up the app as well as the product. Once connected, I pressed the app 'On' button for the lamp and instantly the lamp turned on. No lag. Same for 'Off'. Offers scenarios to set up, as well as timers. Then I sat up the unit for my Subwoofer in my entertainment system. I bought it because my sub has no power switch. The only way to turn it off is to physically pull the plug out of the electrical socket. It. Worked. Perfectly. This was EXACTLY what I needed to operate my Sub.Literally my only complaint is the size of the product makes it bulky on a power-bar and covers a second electrical outlet. Don't let the cheap price throw you off. This little thing is a real helpful gem!!

This smart plug works exactly as advertised. I was skeptical at first so bought 1, then an 2nd, and 3rd within a 3 week period. Once you have the app downloaded and installed, linking each additional plug takes minutes. Allow about 10 minutes for the first one. You can give the plug whatever name you want. So far I have "bedroom nightstand lamp", "bedroom floor lamp", and "livingroom lamp". I originally bought to use with Alexa but found the Tuya app on iPhone is very useful. I can turn the lights off from the app if I leave the house and forget to turn them off. It is interesting Alexa recognizes the devices wether I say "turn off nightstand lamp" or "turn off nightstand light" even though I do not have the word light in the name. Both the Tuya app and Alexa let you group the plugs so in the app for example 1 button push can turn on/off you customized setup. For me "goodnight" turns all plugs off. In Alexa I have a group now for all lights so saying "turn off all lights" does just that. I was tempted to try one of the other smart plugs, and still might, but can vouch for this one. I will order my 4th plug this week. If they all keep working after 6 months I will leave my 5 star rating.

I had spent $120 on a device that would turn my outdoor lights on and off over night. It was a headache as it had to be reprogramed anytime the power when off or even just flashed. I have bought other Leimi products and have been very happy with the product, improvements to the app and internal software and especially with the rapid and friendly responses from the Leimi staff. So I bought this plug hoping it would replace the other device. It is fantastic!!! Now I only have to adjust the time as the days get longer or shorter, but I get to do it from the comfort of my livingroom over my wifi!!! Excellent product and great company.

Simple to set up. Functions well. Diameter of plug is too big...it interferes wit the adjacent outlet more than it should. Led status light is too bright. I'm using the device for a bedside lamp and the led brightness is annoying. Lastly, I was apprehensive to order this at first because I was unsure what the app features were like. I'd suggest giving a link to the app, or some sample of what to expect in the Amazon listing.

I have 3 of these so far and may buy more. I’m not tied to a Google or Amazon Smart Home platform yet, but it’s nice to know these are compatible. We use them for table and floor laps through out the house. You can use app to set all outlets to turn on at sunset which is useful. We’d like them to come on about 20 minutes before sunset so that would be nice add to the app. Right now everyone needs the app or reach behind furniture to get to the outlet when they want to turn light on outside of one the programmed times. We’ll be getting Alexa soon to remedy that.

This is a great smart plug that works very well with Alexa. I use it on a lighted palm tree on our Lanai and have it setto turn on automatically at 8PM and off at 11PM. If I want to turn it ON or OFF at a different time I just tell Alexa to do it.Great product.

This is just like another wifi plugs in market and is very easy to setup. Just download the app and follow the instructions. Installation will took about 3 -5 minutes and sync up with your device echo or google home . I'm using it with my echo dot and works perfectly fine with it.

We had a bit of a hard time setting this up at first but it ended up being due to our WiFi. Once we got it working, it is super easy to use and works great! We even have ours outside for our Christmas lights and have had no issues (it is on a covered porch).
