Ok but still hard to use with 1 hand.
My sister suffered a bleed on the brain causing her to have a stroke losing the right side of her body. This butter spreader is ok but even though she has full use of her left side she still has trouble using this product.

Good butter spreader
It is ideal for putting butter on corn cobs, not sure how well it works with pancakes. Easy to spread, but only if it has been out of the fridge for a while or the butter will be too hard. It is not so easy to clean, but we still like it.

Good for corn on the cob
I ordered this reasonably priced Norpro butter spreader after breaking my more expensive Pampered Chef corn cob butterer. See picture for comparison. Both spreaders work very well for applying butter to corn on the cob. It does get a bit messy, however, with small pieces of corn and silk sticking to the butter and holder, so I wipe the top off with a paper towel following usage. Despite that, I would definitely recommend this Norpro butter spreader for use with corn on the cob.Note: While this may be obvious to most people, it wasn’t obvious to me... The plastic portion that sticks up on the bottom piece is for your fingers to grip. I had been using my Pampered Chef spreader incorrectly with that little part facing up because I thought it was to hold the butter in place.

butter spreader
I purchased this butter spreader so that I could use it to grease my baking sheet when I make cookies. It did not work at all for that purpose. Because it has a concave curve to it, it did not grease my pan evenly, plus it was hard to push the butter out from the top. This might be good for buttering corn on the cob because of the concave curve, but on a flat surface like a cookie sheet, it was useless. Since I don't like butter on my corn cob, this spreader is useless for me. It will be going to Goodwill on my next donation.

Seem a bit easy to use but Did not try this product personnally 4 myself
It seem nice but I'd gotten it for a friend that'd request this item. I'll ask her if it's worth buying n write another review. Sorry but I'm only being honest n I'll not lie just to have any 🌟

Garbage
Useless! You can’t push the butter out if you keep it refrigerated. Literally threw it in the trash with a stick of butter stuck in it.
