This was so easy to put up, however it's a challenge when it's windy. It's almost like sailing.. you just have to find the right angle in the wind to keep it aloft. It provides a great area of shade. Very lightweight so it's not too heavy to carry. I recommend this product. Be aware though some beaches, like Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, doesn't allow anything but umbrellas from Memorial Day to Labor Day. I can see not allowing tents or cabanas where you can't see through them which enables people to engage in activities which aren't public-friendly. However, when this is put up correctly, you can see through it so unless you're a really crude person you won't be engaging in anything that the public shouldn't see.

This is a nice “shade” while on the beach. The pole (2) construction allow for easy set up and staking. Four pouches with string are included and attached to the “tent” to fill with sand (little shovels provided) allowing anchoring of the rear, which is closest to the ground, and expands toward to staking poles, where the material is placed over top of the pole and secured with what looks like a scrunchie allowing looseness/tightness.The structure is a good size and provides ample sun protection. There are other staking essentials included, because if windy and not properly set up, it can be a mess quickly.I also purchased a mat to put beneath, which also included staking tools. The mat came in a little pouch and the structure included a nice black bag to hold everything.The black bag obviously appears expensive that it was left on the patio table outside (sand), that someone decided to help themselves to it. It was my SECOND time using it, and obviously DISTRAUGHT that someone would come onto someone’s property and take it.My grandson’s shoes were also in that bag, so needless to say I am upset, but THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PURCHASE.Addendum: I would post a photo but not at the expense of my entire digital photo existence and camera access. Provide a dedicated product review device for photo and video and a contract for that type of labor. TF!

I really wanted to like this because I saw someone on the beach with something similar but it doesn’t stay up well and the polls collapse on my infant while she’s in the tent

Update: The company refunded my money, which I appreciate considering it was after the return date. The 5 stars is for the customer service, not the product.Took this to the beach this weekend...impossible to set up, wind knocked it down time and time again. Horrible! Saw the ones with 4 poles, they stayed up better than this one.

It's just ok. It could use two more poles and the sandbags could be bigger. When the wind gets up to 10-15 mph it is a constant issue trying to keep it up. I'd say spend the money and get something better.

I wanted to like this- I really thought this would be a perfect solution for me to go to beach alone and not require help. I found this easy to put up- instructions were clear. Getting it to stay up was another story. It whipped around in the slightest breeze and was so unstable and unsturdy I took it down about 30 minutes later because I was sure it would blow away.Maybe if there is absolutely no breeze at all this would maybe be okay- but realistically- just get a tent. With steaks for the ground.The sandbags would be good for secondary support only.

Great beach tent, easy to put up and take down, sand doesn't stick to fabric. Highly recommended.

Better than expected! Lightweight so easy to carry, creates nice shade. 10’x10’ size is perfect for parents with a couple kids or coolers and things to keep shaded. Set up is easygoing, needed very little adjusting and one person can set up or breakdown but definitely super simple with two people. Held up to beach breeze very well while neighbors tents were making a mess.
