This series of quick stories are how a special character comes to be. Read the whole series as they step along an evolution that is very engaging. Different settings keep the action interesting. The pace is fast and hard to put down as bad guys get their just desserts.

Wolfgang Pierce makes his way across the world to end up in another train wreck situation, attempting to rid the world of an arms dealer who sells to dealers arming child soldiers. Pierce follows his rules and fights the dealer's henchmen. Excitement at full throttle.

You never disappoint. So much action! The next one is gonna be awesome, no doubt! You’re such a tease. Can’t wait!

Character development is a hallmark of the author along with drama. You’ll find yourself caring and loathing and turning the page to see what happens next.

The Wolfgang Pierce series is a group of novellas, usually around 95 to 110 pages (at least on my iPad) which, in order to follow the timeline, should generally be read in sequence, (this is #9) but that’s not required, but it certainly fills in some of the back story.Book #9 finds Wolfgang, who was rescued, from a forced fighting arena where you either won or died, by a mysterious Japanese man at the end of the last book (#8). Wolfgang is given an opportunity to change his life by this mysterious person, who turns out to be a professional assassin. After a period of intense training, Wolfgang and his benefactor get to work with harrowing results. The story line is exciting and fast paced, just the thing for an evenings entertainment. Novellas have to be fast paced since there is not a lot of room for plot development. This is a nice quick enjoyable read. If you have read and enjoyed any of the previous books, you should enjoy this one. Logan Ryles writes a good yarn as they say.It should be noted that this series occurs before Logan Ryles Reed Montgomery series as to timeline. Once you read the book, everything dove tails together.

These last 2 books in this series are very bleak. This one feels strange all the way through because it’s an origin story (sort of). An explanation of that in a foreword might make the book more enjoyable. Those readers new to the series may be confused.

I received an ARC and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.This story continues what happened after Wolfgang was rescued in Bangkok. The person who saved him offers an opportunity to Wolfgang. At first Wolf was kept in a locked room. Once he learned what Bennett wanted, his conditions changed. It seems Bennett was an assassin and wanted Wolfgang to join him. Before he knew it, he was spending a great deal of training to get him fit to handle his new role. After Bennett considered him ready, he then gave Wolfgang a target to assassinate. Wolfgang was able to handle it, but things weren't that easy.Right after that Bennett told him about another target that he needed help with. The two of them flew to Dubai where the target resided. Things were set in motion, but the first meeting did not go as planned. Another meet was set up and while they were with the target, the target and his associates felt Wolfgang was not who he claimed to be. Things got help came from an unknown party. An event was to happen soon and they were invited. At the event. At this event they were going to kill the target. Before they were able to accomplish their task, a gunfight broke out with Bennett being shot. Wolfgang fighting his way out then pursued the target to finish the job. It seems that the target had his jet prepared to leave. Wolfgang managed to get the airport and was on the runway playing chicken with the jet.To learn what the reasoning behind this last target's assignment, what happened at the airport and how Bennett helped Wolfgang in the end, then you need to read this book.This a great story and brings you up to speed regarding the current period. This answered a lot of questions how Wolfgang got to where he is now.

Just finished the complete series,had to keep reading to find out what happened next highly recommended well written ,hope more will follow
