I'm tall, so sit back a bit far from the steering wheel because I need the leg room. The sun visor in my car is pitifully small, and leaves a huge gap on my side window that the sun always seems to find and beam directly into my left eye. The Visor Buddy filled my needs. Extremely easy to attach (seriously, the clip just slides right on the visor), and works like a charm. Also ridiculously easy to slide up or down the visor, depending on how low the sun is. Best $ I've spent in a while. Highly recommend!

My commute to work has the sun at awkward side angles basically 10 months out of the year. I had previously tried the cheap versions that velcro to your car visor, which just got stuck to everything and picked up fingerprints on the stupid sun dimmer thing that I didn't want anyway!This gadget, though... if all you need to do is block the sun completely out, JUST BUY IT. You will be immensely happy with how this sun blocker works. No velcro this baby--it just clips into place with zero effort. The original version was pretty bulky, but that also meant it did a great job blocking at quite a few angles... but mostly just to the side, and you couldn't close your visor all the way unless you sorta-unhooked the extender by pushing it too far in. While this does allow you to out your visor all the way back, it does weaken the device over time and it WILL break eventually.I liked mine enough that I immediately bought another the day that I sadly broke my first one. Version 3.0 (the current one at the time of writing this review) is 100% improved. The slide-out portion is slightly skinnier, which means you no longer need to worry about closing your visor at all, and it fits on the right side of the visor as well (in case you need to block the sun between your visor and mirror). I was a little worried that it wouldn't be enough coverage to the side, but the skinnier slide-out also means it's lighter, so repositioning is very simple. I will note that mine did not come with a shim, which the description said was included at the time, but honestly you can just use a folded piece of cards took just as well if things get a little loose.10/10 - high recommended and use literally every single day.

Serves its purpose - strong clip, stays in place, isn't too hard to pull out or push back. Good product.I think it's a bit pricey for what it is and what it does, but compared to some of the other products I've tried to block sun/glare, it's much more solid.

Wish I had bought 2 when they were on sale. I stalled this on the passenger visor and it worked great blocking the sun between the rear view mirror and the visor

I saw that this longer version of this product was going to be available months ago and made a mental note to come back to it because I couldn't find anything else out there that fit the specific space I was trying to shield. I am happy to report that it works great, and I love it. My driving experience is much improved.I have a 2017 Prius, and I like the car, but it's been so annoying that the sun shield built into the car only covers half the window space. The sun was always in my eyes. No longer! Problem solved! It fits on the car's built in visor like a glove and exactly fills the space it needs to. Feels solid. Easy to put on. Easy to use while driving. No complaints.

I couldn’t put the sun visor back in place because the unit was so thick it wouldn’t go there. And when I pulled the extension out it pulled the visor down so far that the sun came in over the top. Totally useless.

The product is good, but they did not fit my Honda CRV very well.

I love it! The extender blocks out that little bit extra of sun a regular visor can't!
