Sericin Plus Reviving Eye Cream. Hydrating and Nourishing Eye Cream to Minimize Dark Circles, Puffiness, and Crows Feet.

I was ready to buy another jar and I started reading the reviews so I checked my jar. I purchased it in December 2020 and it expired in December 2019 according to the date on the bottom of the jar. When I received it the packaging was bad, but I just assumed it was damaged in the shipping. The lid also looked like it had been removed and the cream was on the lid. If you purchase this please check your expiration date. It is a good product and I like it. I think it makes your eyes look good.

When I first opened this product I immediately noticed that it smelled stale...not rancid, just old and stale. I checked the box and couldn't find any expiration info, so decided to give the product a try. After 3 weeks of using the cream 2x a day I noticed my under eye area was slightly less moisturized than usual, but also looked a little smoother. My dark circles and puffiness were unchanged. So, I came back to Amazon and read some of the reviews. This led me to the product expiration date printed on the bottom of the jar (I hadn't noticed this before). Unbelievably, the jar I received expired almost a year ago! Are you kidding me?! I’ve never actually received an expired product from Amazon, though I know others have. For the price of this cream, this is completely unexpected, never mind unacceptable. Sorry, but any vendor trying to sell expired product at luxury brand prices should not be trusted!!

Salon quality products at.. salon quality prices. haha. Really though, this eye cream is fantastically expensive, but it is delivering. This 1.7 ounce container is going to last a very long time. Just a tiny bit is needed to generously cover the eye area. It comes with a small spatula. Spatula "knife" on one side and a ball on the other for use in massaging in. I find that I can just dab my finger in the protective lid and have enough to cover the skin around my eyes. I pat gently and carry on with my day. I find I like using it both morning and night, but I especially love it for use at night. It is greatly moisturizing. The dry winter is harsh on my skin, and this makes the skin around my eyes feel and look healthy, hyrdrated, youthful.Received 01/2021 with expiry date of 06/2022. Plenty of time!Thick, rich, but does not irritate or cause milia. I have no issues using this, which is awesome since so many eye products aggravate my eyes. I have an eye serum I use daily and nightly which works best being topped off by an eye cream. I have ONE eye cream that I like (pricy, but not as pricy as this), and now I have TWO since trying this one. I have been using this one exclusively for a couple of weeks now. I fret that I like this so much when the times comes to repurchase. If you have the budget for this, I say go for it. If you are on the fence, know that very little is needed and it will last a year I imagine. I aim to keep procedures at bay, but will when/if I need to. My mom had such droopy lids that she needed a small lift just so she could see. I am trying to mitigate that with taking care of my skin and using excellent skin care products. I’ll start by saying this is a beautifully packaged eye cream. The cream is in a shiny silver jar and comes in lovely box. And it comes with a pretty crystal look dipper with a small orb on the end to pat the product into your skin.After using the orbed dipper to apply the cream to my eye area, I tap it in even more with my fingertips. It absorbs nicely. My eyes feel a little irritated/watery after use so I limit use to at night.According to the product description silk proteins in the product work to smooth and revitalize the eye area, reduce eye bags, smooth wrinkles and more.I haven’t seen any difference yet but I will give it time and update the star rating if I do. However, I do feel the product is very expensive. But according to the product description you are saving money ‘healthy skin without salon prices’.The product description also suggests you pair the eye cream with the eye serum for best results. After spending several hundred on an eye cream I wouldn’t think I would have to add another product to it.The product description also states their line is all you need for beautiful skin, but I see no mention of a sunscreen but I may have missed it.In addition, I don’t understand why the company does not share more about the lab they use or a complete ingredients list. I do like that they claim to be paraben free and cruelty free. But their brag at their website about being exclusive and not at mass marketers or discount stores is not impressive.Overall, I love the presentation but I would like more info on the ingredients and why the high price is warranted. As it is now the price is over the top when there are so many other quality products on the market. As far as results, time will tell and I will update this review if my eye area improves.

First, the expiration date on the one I received is June 2022, or 18 months away (I received a little while back mid-January 2021). I'm showing this because another had claimed it arrived expired which I find difficult to understand.Second, what makes this eye cream fantastic is its hydrolyzed silk protein content. It's proven to improve skin elasticity and has several anti-aging factors. This protein improves skin hydration in ways other cosmetics don't, making it an effective eye cream. Further, this product also uses sweet almond oil and other ingredients that I get good results with. I think it's an excellent eye cream.
