I picked these up for using to magnetise the bases my necromumda gang and other miniatures for transport. For a really secure fix, I’d recommend using 2 magnets per 25-32 mm base for plastic minis, 3 for 40 mm bases and metal minis. A really a fantastic buy. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is looking for magnets for miniature basing .

Strong little magnets. Good value.

I've bought packs of magnets before and these are as good as any that I've seen. Price is reasonable (although it's always sensible to shop around).I wanted to make sure there was a full 120 in the pack, so I laid them all out on my steel ruler, expecting them to reach 240mm, but they came short. Counting them the boring way revealed that there were 120, so I dug out the plastic callipers to check one. 1.7mm is outside the ±0.2mm accuracy in the listing and, when looking at the thickness, is 15% short. That being said it's the faces that are important with these and they measured to be a true 5.0mm.The thickness isn't a deal breaker, but worth knowing if you're designing something with a particular tolerance.

I ordered 7 packs recently and not one packet had 60 magnets in it. Each pack has 30. I'm confused?

Magneten sind für mich immer öfter ein Teil meiner 3D-Drucke und mit immer vielfältigeren Drucken, brauch es auch vielfältige Magneten.Die Magnete werden ohne Trennung, einfach blank aneinanderliegend geliefert, kamen aber dennoch alle ohne Schäden hier an.Die Verarbeitung scheint auch gut. Es waren keine produktionsbedingten Schäden oder Macken auf der Oberfläche zu erkennen und die Kanten sind sehr gut verrundet.Trotz ihrer recht übersichtlichen Abmaße ist die Magnetkraft doch noch ganz ok und selbst mit etwas Plastik dazwischen halten sie immer noch etwas zusammen. Ich nutze sie wie gesagt vorrangig, um sie in 3D Druck einzubetten, die dann reversibel verschlossen, bzw. zusammengefügt werden sollen. Diese Größe ist natürlich nicht für hohe Belastungen geeignet, aber für kleine Halter ohne dauerhafte Belastung o.ä. tun sie es noch. Vorzugsweise verzichte ich hier auch auf das Überdrucken, sodass die Magneten direkten Kontakt und so die höchste Kraft auswirken können.Für 7 Cent das Stück ist die Leistung der Magneten mehr als fair und wer solche kleinen Magnete braucht, kann hier getrost zuschlagen.
