I like this a lot. I teach multiple kinds of Reiki, and am constantly recording/studying symbols and techniques. Because I’ll often show these to students or clients, I wanted something nicer than a traditional binder or hybrid notebook, but with the ability to reorganize pages and add new paper. This fits the bill.Looks like a nice leather bound journal, but behaves like a binder. Apparently they also make large ones, if that’s more your style. I like the portability of this one. It could also be used as a traditional journal. The rings make it lie flat, which is very nice, especially if you need to leave it open to a page without touching it.This company also makes paper, which is super convenient. Blank paper comes with it, I ordered a lined refill packet as well. I still have room to spare after adding the refill packet. It’s also very well made, I don’t see it falling apart anytime soon. I’m definitely ordering more as gifts, very happy!

Purchased 2 journals as gifts, then purchased one for myself. Very nice journals. Colors are very pretty! Like the 3-ringer binder style so I can add different paper, pocket pages, or whatever I want. Love the strap to hold it closed as well as the one to mark your place. Would definitely purchase again!

My son who is in to pirates right now, loves it. Only problem I had bought it for myself. I was searching for an A5 size and while this comes in a A5 that is not what popped up and I didn't pay close enough attention. So make sure you get the size you want.

This was a very cute journal. I bought it for my nephew who was looking for something to carry around with him. I also love that it is a binder type so he can add and remove pages. He said this reminds him of the TV show SuperNatural. Would definitely recommend. Very cute journal. Plus the pages have a nice worn look too.

I've been using this thing for about a month and it's driving me crazy. It stays closed if you wrap the leather strap around it to keep it closed (and by the way, it's way shorter in real life than in the picture), but if you don't, then it just sort of slowly opens to a half-open, half-closed state and stays there. I thought that after using it for a while, the leather would eventually attain the ability to lay flat while open and stay closed when I close it, but I was far too optimistic. If I dare to want to write in it, the shorter flap on the right is constantly trying to fold back over and hover there not quite closed but not open enough to work, either. It's annoying and after I write this review, I'm going to look for a different binder so I can throw this one in a donation bin somewhere.Still looks nice though. Like if I were going for this on looks alone, it's great. It's just that when you actually try to use it that problems arise.

My kids each picked out their joy journal, this was my son's choice. Fun little book for him to write the things he sees on his adventures.

It fits my need for a recipe book. I got some plain white A5 paper and print them off. The charms are a bit of a PITA, and I removed the anchor and trimmed that cord. Works well for what I wanted.

It honestly was much better than I expected. For this price, good quality & design...pictures here are what you get.I got this note for our son and different design but the same kind for our daughter to have them write their journals during this crazy quarantine days. This notebook is looking great and special enough to make them being excited and children call it “Fancy special notebook!”.
