Poor quality. Creaky and rickety.

I bought one of these to replace my X rocker reclining speaker chair. I have had a number of chairs over the years and I will compare the Elfordson with the X rocker. I wanted a chair with the highest back as possible and it seems fine in that respect being an inch or so higher. It arrived quickly and was easily assembled. The first thing I noted was that the base that has the castors has to be built up as it is not a one piece base. This is all (the complete chair) assembled with an allen key which could have done with being a bit longer. to save my fingers. I was soon sitting in it and my first observation was that the actual seat was sloping back too much for me and I had to add spacers to get it tipping forward a bit more. As I sat on it I thought that the padding was a lot less substantial and for me that meant adding extra cushioning. I found the lumbar support pad irritating and there was nowhere it felt comfortable so it is shelved until I can somehow fit it on the very top of the seat back (see picture). The footrest might be OK for a shorter person, I am over six feet, but it is something I can't use and it also interferes with my legs if I tuck them under the seat so that is another thing to be shelved - but permanently.In general I am happy with the chair as it is about as good as you can get for £90. I do love the clothlike material and the grey colour; I am hoping it lasts longer than my X rocker which has peeled bit by bit in only a few years.
