Solid piece of work. Not too heavy, padding within acceptable not too cumbersome, though may benefit a teensy bit more if wallop the box about but it would reduce the capacity/volume. Looks clean & rigid, legs chunky & no wobble. Handle on lid solid thus far. Locking mechanism usual clasp, can be a little off centre with persistent use perhaps. Locks a little on the flimsy side, won't stand up to aggressive use.One real odd aspect of it is the lid hinge. Though i hesitate to use the word 'hinge'. In that the place where metal slots in does indeed rotate as a lid should in two places, but it then comes away completely and the lid is not attached at all in any hinged sense. Leaning it against a wall would be ok, otherwise the box now has a lid standing next to it, rather than part of the whole. This may have saved on a piece of metal that would get a lot of wear...that's hinges for you...but it is weird compared to other boxes that clearly just hinge backward as a box tends to without having to discard the lid. Perhaps there is a real good reason for having a completely unattached lid. Personally I cannot surmise quite what that might be. Maybe to put all of your boxes right next to each other in some DJ setup for immediate access...

This is a really nice case for the money, it looks great and is perfect for keeping your vinyl safe. Unfortunately the r/h latch doesn't lock due to the key not going all the way into the barrel. I would have given 5 stars but because my unit is faulty I've downgraded my review. I have reached out to the seller and will update this review once concluded...I've updated review to 5 stars due to the excellent customer service received from the seller. They were very quick at dealing with my issue and sent another case out immediately which I'm glad to say has 2 working locks. Thankyou for your swift action regarding my order.

Excellent case. Bought this for moving house. Pricey for 1 use but compared to others in the price range these seem superior. Enough so that I bought a second.Many of my vinyls are double and gatefold so keep this in mind when choosing a size.

I bought this case for my dad who passed away for his collections of LPs to keep them safe and protected...the case is study not to heavy... looks good and we like the colour... will be buying another one for the rest of his collection...they will be in my front room... need to get a turn table so i can play them.

Nothing to not like about these cases, good quality and a decent price. Wonderful protection.
