I love these guards. They are wide at the top and collect a lot of liquid. The flaps keep them from leaking around the sides.They are the best of the seven styles I have tried. I have a heavy leakage problem. I’m going to try their formula 2 style which holds more liquid.Cons: The only problem with these guards is that they need a stronger adhesive to hold them to the underwear. The wide front part has a tendency to flop down and then liquid can saturate the top front of the underwear. An adhesive strip horanzontaly across the top front would be better.

As several other reviewers have stated before, this product may be overkill for the individual that has the occasional dribble. However, after trying many products, sleeping and leaks have been the biggest issue. Shields of any brand are useless, even during the day.I have been using Tena's level 2 guards for men with very little issue. However, I was drawn to Abri Man on the product detail that that their pad had raised leak guards. This little detail makes all the difference to keeping things in place and well worth the difference in price.Absorbency I cannot speak to as the product is intended for a greater level of incontinence, however comfort and adhesion are both a 4 star. Some reviewers say the pad feels like a diaper up front. It's actually not bad and the material Abena uses is quite soft and gentle for a longer and/or active wear of the product. I was able to pedal a bike for 10 miles with no chaffing or discomfort. The loss of the fifth star is due to the material cut on the narrow end of the triangle. It would be nice if the cut for the wide part started just a smidge higher in the wedge as it does take a little time to not feel the pad between your legs.All in all, it is a great product and would definitely recommend for discreet security of leaks.

These are slightly expensive but bullet proof.I recommend these for prolonged vigorous activity and when you know you will not be able to switch out protection for long periods of time (e.g., traveling ten or more hours).

Works as well as the more expensive similar product. Only complaint is the lack of adhesive. Pad trends to loosen and roll and the adhesive sticks to the stomach skin on heavier men like me. The pad is also thick between the legs making for slight discomfort. Take getting used to. The more expensive product is the same. I continue to buy this product for the value.

price is spot on for a entry try. comfortable. if meds or? causing some issues. try these. can sleep and work no issues.will use further. Not feeling embarrassed about maybe or might moments. yes to a friendly product.

I had high hopes for this guard, but sadly it just does not work for me. For one thing, it's too short, so after a while it leaks out of the bottom of the guard. I understand it's intended for "moderate absorbency" but my experience has been it's only good for "light". I think that the companies that make/market these types of products do not use real-life people with our problem to test them out. I can't imagine anyone that has male incontinence would ever recommend these guards to anyone, much less think they are a good product to sell. We have enough issues in our lives with incontinence without the possible embarrassment of urine leakage. If these company's CEO's had this issue, I guarantee they would never allow these guards to be sold.

My husband had radical prostate and has tried close to everything-he was able to leave the house a couple hours and feel confident he would not be humiliated by leakage

Have just needed to start using pads after a short illness - these pads are brilliant and absorb so very well - after my first accident I was amazed to find that I was dry and no leakage - not sure they could cope with a massive amount of urine but they work well for me.
