Purchased to have ice while traveling in the RV. A bit heavy but well worth it to have ice. Fairly quiet too. I just fill and let it do it's thing. Makes bullet type ice. I put it in a zip lock bag and transfer to the freezer or ice chest. When it melts in the ice chest I run it back through the ice maker - no wasted water. (I use bottled water)

We live in the desert and go through a lot of ice. Bought this not knowing what to expect as all the ice makers on Amazon seem to have similar reviews . After letting it settle in the box for two days I opened it and got it set up . Read the directions. It needs to have air circulation around the unit . The unit is fairly large and will take up a good bit of counter space but at least it’s worth it . With 10-15 minutes you have ice! The ice does come out slightly wet which when you put it into a container in the freezer can cause it to stick together . So just have an ice pick or butter knife handy to break it up . I find the larger size cubes are easier to break up . Overall it was worth the money and prices of making ice is easy .

Was a great little machine at first. I filled with bottled water. Made ice and water dispenser both worked great. I left the ice maker on, using ice periodically over the next few days. Then I went to get a cup of ice water and the water tasted really bad. I believe it is from the ice melting and flowing back into the reservoir.I emptied the water and filled it up., leaving ice maker off. The water tasted fine. I turned the ice maker back on and tasted the first batch of ice, and it was fine. The next day the water tasted bad and was undrinkable.I will not be purchasing a replacement.

My granddaughter loves this. It makes plenty of ice and is easy to use: fits nicely on the countertop or table. Also it lets you know when it needs water.

It makes ice really quick and the ice it makes has that clear look that you only get from a Scotsman ice maker which is $2K minimum. As pretentious as it may sound, we have received complements on the look of our ice. However, the bin that retains the ice only holds sufficient ice to fill a 30 oz cup to the rim.This is a huge problem because the ice maker stops making ice once the ice bin is full. Therefore, you have to empty the ice bin if you want the ice maker to start working again. The result is that you can never enjoy more than a 30 oz cup worth of ice at one time - which might be okay if you bought this machine as the single ice maker for your home and plan to only use it for yourself.Our family bought this ice machine to augment our fridge’s ice maker and to help at parties. However, all it takes is for one person to ask for a margarita and your completely out of ice! It also is pretty loud, which one could overlook if it could hold more ice, which unfortunately is the greatest disappointment about this ice machine.

I love this machine! I don't love cleaning it. It recommends you clean it daily. I don't, I clean it weekly. It is just way too hard to clean. But, it's worth it. The ice is that perfect ice that everyone loves and it's the perfect size. I'd give it 5 stars if the cleaning weren't so hard. Other than that, it's sleek design matches great with my other appliances. Because of where my fridge is, we don't have water access and this was cheaper than putting in a line to it. Definitely worth it.

The thing I was looking for most was something that could make ice and dispense water in a timely matter. It does both! It does only dispense the water you put into the machine though, so if I could change anything about it I would have a way to hook it up to our houses water but other than that it’s helpful and not super noisy. The most noise it makes is when it drops the ice cubes into the holder that you then dispense them out of.

It has stopped working and does not produce lot ice I have an extended warranty how do I exercise it
