Awesome
I'm a huge fan of this game, and of course I'm going to give it the full 5 banger! Anyone that loves the original game, has to try this expansion out! Truckers are insanely good.

Factions were very complex and pretty confusing
Smash up is a game that combines two different faction decks into one mega deck. The point of the game is to play minions from your deck on a variety bases and score the base to get points. It is simple and each game is different depending on which factions you choose to 'smash' together and which ones the opponents choose as well as which bases are in play. My husband and I love the original smash up game and bought the level 9000 expansion which we also loved. We like the smash up game because of its simplicity we can teach it to friends and within 10 minutes they are pros. We have been playing this game for quite a while and felt like we had a pretty good grasp on how to play, but we found this expansion was extremely confusing. The four factions in this expansion are Truckers, Kung Fu Fighters, Disco Dancers and Vigilantes. The easiest faction to understand was the Trucker faction because they played a lot like the original decks. Disco Dancers and Kung Fu Fighters were extremely complex adding power tokens to cards and then moving power tokens when certain action cards were played. In fact, there was an additional 2 pages of clarifications in the rule book for the cards that were the most confusing. It would be a real pain to have to look up the clarifications each time you wanted to use one of the confusing cards. I just felt like they wanted to go deeper into the game instead of keeping it purely simple. We made the decision to exchange the expansion for a different one.I gave 3 stars because I know that so many people would really appreciate the depth that could be achieved. Plus it could be fun with some of the original factions because these ones have so many more powers than the other ones do. I, however, valued the simplicity of the game and was not a fan of how complex these factions were

good if your collecting, not the greatest
this is a very ok set. the truckers are ok, the vigilantes are probably the best one, the disco guys are the hardest to learn. and the kung fu fighters are also ok. get if you like having all the factions for the game, this is one of the last ones i would get gameplay wise

Better than average expansion
This is one of the better expansions for Smash-Up, a game with FAR more depth than would appear at the surface. The more you learn the game, the deeper the strategies and crazy combos you learn to work toward.

Saturday Night Fever Smash Up Style
The box arrived in excellent condition. This set brought a very goofy concept as an expansion to a great game.

Great addition! Fun factions that add a lot of variety to the game. Help to balance out some of the more annoying factions like robots and zombies. Highly recommend!

Best Game around
Love the versatility of this series. No two games are ever alike and you can play with two players or many. Will continue to buy every expansion
