Great replacement
Yeah, if you throw away the factory plate, this is the solution. Fits exactly as you would expect and it’s metal and plastic. That’s better build quality than some other versions.

Don't be dumb and throw away your OEM plate like I did
I decided to upgrade from a third-party CPU cooling fan to a liquid cooled fan. But the liquid cooled fan expected that I would have kept my original OEM CPU backplate...which I did not. So out of panic to salvage my mess, I was happy to find this backplate. It fit perfectly and was easy to install and got me on my way to installing that shiny new liquid cooling heatsink.

Does the job holding it tight
The media could not be loaded. Honestly I randomly got this AM4 bracket after my last one and this bracket does an amazing job at holding your AIO down highly recommend this for your next pc Build and the temps are really amazing I’m getting anywhere with 30C to 40C on idle
