Impressively Performing Compact Panel
Initially upon opening the package I was ready to deduct a star due to a lack of any self propping feature. The only mounting provision is 4 corner grommets and 2 carabiner clips which are ok for hanging from a back pack or fixed object but unsuitable for optimal free standing positioning and placement. However upon testing I find it hard to penalize such good performance from such a compact folding panel. What you get is a 40w panels that does fold to 13" x 9" and 5/8" thick which is smaller than the laptop on which I am writing this. Included besides the 2 carabiner clips is a DC cable and an assortment of DC adapters. The panel has a USB and a DC port. For testing purposes I used this panel to charge a LiFePO4 battery comparing performance with a good conventional 40w panel and then another day to maintain a power station that was running a 12v refrigerator.Day 1 was a sunny late afternoon winter day. Charging the battery produced 1.7A to 1.9A through the charge controller and 20w into a 300w power station. Under the same conditions the conventional 40w panel was producing 1.6A to 1.7A and 22w into the power station. I was surprised and impressed with this little panel.Day 2 was a sunny early winter afternoon. Simulating a camping trip the panel was plugged into a fully charged 300w power station that was running a 12v Bodega K25 12v refrigerator freezer. The K25 has a 35w ECO mode or full power at 45w. For the test I ran it at the full 45w and set the desired temperature to 35 degrees. Outside temperature was 63 degrees and It takes about 30 minutes to get down to 35 degrees with the compressor running 30w to 45w usually in the 40s. The panel was feeding 29w to 32w to the power station at the same time. After the desired temperature is reached the compressor cycles on as needed but just like your home reefer a good deal of the time it is not running. With the panel constantly feeding 30w the station battery never dropped below 99%. Now in a real situation I would definitely want more panel; and more battery but with this optimal sun 2 days and a night would be possible. At any rate I had to give 5 stars.

Good foldable solar panel
I ordered this solar panel though the Vine program. I have only received it recently and this review is based strictly on my initial observations. The solar panel was delivered promptly and the first thing I noticed was that it was nicely packaged - for a moment, it crossed my mind that the sealed white bag contains an expensive electronic device and not a solar panel. The solar panel looks and feels like it's made out of quality materials. I had the chance to test it in full sun, 58 degrees, at Noon, by connecting it to a Bluetti power station - it is very helpful that a set of connectors is included with the panel. My power station (which has a built-in MPPT solar charge controller) only displays the charging wattage and for this panel the best I got was 29W so this panel's performance is certainly adequate. To me, what sets this panel apart from other flexible/foldable panels is the built-in USB ports, which allow the user to charge a smartphone without needing a solar charge controller. The panel has CE, FCC, and RoHS markings - it would be nice to also obtain a third-party certification like UL or ETL. Overall, I feel like this is a quality product and I am happy with it. While I cannot assess its durability, I hope it will last a long time.

Disappointed Big time
The media could not be loaded. I want to start by saying, I travel and work on the road. I wanted this as a backup for my 240W Jackery. The first couple times I used it, I was pulling 16 to 22 watts and thought that wasn't that bad. This is my 4th time using it and it's pulling 3 watts in direct sun. I'm very disappointed and I canned return it because I am on a 3 month long trip out in the middle of nowhere. No backup for me I guess. Disappointed.

Decent output and very portable. Does not have panel props, so have something to lean it on.
Decent power output from this foldable panel. I was getting between 29 - 31w in almost but not quite ideal conditions, so the stated output seems to be accurate. It's very lightweight and portable when folded up! Comes with a DC5521 charging cord and an adapter set to cover most solar generators (no XT 60). You can also charge your USB devices directly as it has one USB-A and one USB-C outputs. The only negative I've found is there no way to prop the panel. You have to lean it against something. The price is on the high side of fair as there are other similar panels on Amazon with incentives ("coupons") that make them more attractively priced. I like the panel, but if I was in the market right now for one I would probably shop around a little harder.

Very good foldable 40W solar panel
This portable foldable solar panel measures approximately 13" x 9" folded and unfolds to be 30 3/4" long. It weight 2.55 lbs. (without the cable or adapters). Testing the output of this panel on a clear sunny day 76 degrees, it had an output of 29.33W (Vmp 16.03V, Imp 1.83A, Voc 18.56V). It comes with a 58" DC-DC cable, 10 different cannon plug adapters and two clips. It has 1 QC3.0 USB port (5V@3A, [email protected], 12V@2A) and one USB-C (5V3A, [email protected], [email protected]).I like the portability, output of this panel and how well it's made. I wish they include a small carrying pouch for it, the cable and adapters to make it easier to carry and keep together. This is a good portable panel for camping, boating, hiking or power outages to be used with a small power station or to recharge cell phones and other USB devices.

Super compact and light weight 40 watt solar panel
Amazingly high output for such a small foldable panel easily fits inside of a backpack and comes with two carabiners to attach to the back side of your backpack while you're walking and charge your devices while you were hiking. The versatility of the adapter kit will fit a wide variety of chargeable devices. It has a standard USB a port and a USB C port. And 10 different size adapters. The supplied cable fits my small solar generator and the 15 volt DC output matches the small solar generators input. I really like how durable this foldable 40 w solar panel is. It says it's a 22% efficiency rated panel which is amazing. It charges rather quickly and I would highly recommend.
