Fantastic paint with prep, timing, situational awareness
I am a Contractor with a 70,000 gallon pool. Ventilation is imperative for epoxy. NIce smelling water paint is garbage that won't stick.Try the latex if you can't intelligently protect yourself with active measures. Preparation is everything. Power mixing for time specified means power mixed for time specified.. No more that 48 hrs. between coats otherwise sand whole thing. Induction time is imperative. 30 minutes if in doubt of temperature of paint . Take pic of instructions on can and zoom up. Read and reread. I use a non contact thermometer for situational awareness for application, mindful of avoiding the sun until their superb black epoxy dura seal or other epoxy paint sets overnight and turns into a tile glaze like finish. Be sure to cast sand on walking surfaces ( it will pop off leaving behind a fossilized good traction surface) or you will be sorry. Their Epoxy paint is no question the best on the market and most economical in the long run. Update one year later: No peeling whatsoever, fantastic bond! I donโt know who the clown was that installed the reflecting pool in Washington, but they didnโt know a damn thing and for sure they didnโt do their due diligence! .

Olympic Pool Paint Viking Blue
I recently used Olympic Pool Paint Epoxy Pool Paint in the Viking Blue color, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. In my opinion, Viking Blue is one of the best pool colors availableโit gives the water a beautiful, rich blue appearance that really stands out. The paint went on smoothly and provided excellent coverage. That said, I highly recommend applying two coats of epoxy primer followed by two coats of epoxy paint. Taking the extra time to do the full system is well worth it for the best finish and durability. So far, the results look amazing, and the finish is smooth, vibrant, and professional-looking. Time will tell how well it holds up over the years, but based on my experience so far, I have high hopes for its long-term performance. If you're considering an epoxy pool paint, I would definitely recommend giving Olympic Pool Paint in Viking Blue a look.

The paint turned my family into the Smurfs
DO NOT BUY. After painting, it looked amazing. We were very impressed, and it looked beautiful. Fast forward not even 2 months later, and every time we come out of the pool we all look like smurfs. I can only imagine how toxic this must be. The paint is totally peeling off, chipping, and bleeding all over our skin and in the water. We reached out to the business and heard nothing back. We followed all instructions to a T. Sadly, we are out tons of money, and canโt use our pool as the paint keeps penetrating our skin. Extremely disappointed in the lack of response from the business who sold this paint.

Great quality paint for your pool
These pool paints are highly recommended! They were applied to a pool that was painted over 20 years ago and the 4 gallons were able to make it look absolutely beautiful. The quality of this paint is amazing.

Hardens fast, very durable
My pool was painted about ten years ago with this. But after ten years, spots show thru and it wears thin. I partially drained my pool and painted where it was needed. Mixing was easy - I use a drill-attached stirrer. It was a warm day (85F) and after an hour it was hardening enough that using a roller was difficult. Within a couple days I was able to re-fill the pool. I did not put sand down, and the first couple weeks it was slick to walk on. After a month, the surface is getting rough enough to walk on without slipping. No big deal since you're in water anyway. This is expensive, but I expect it will last as long as the last coat. Next time, if it's as hot outside, I will likely get a thinner for it. One hour in the sun with a roller is tough. It's a thick paint.

Great product for a pool
This works fantastic. I actually used it on a fiberglass tub and it came out great. It did lift in a couple places but it was my fault for not thoroughly degreasing it in a few places but overall a great product. It would be awesome on a stock tank pool.
