Build a Better Vegetable Garden: 30 DIY Projects to Improve your Harvest

Now that Spring is here!!!
I have three, be it rather small gardens. One is laid to paving, one to lawn, its rather Unilever and one I have been trying to utilise as a fruit and vegetable garden.I purchased this book as I really need to improve my fruit/vegetable garden at a budget. This book is excellent. Some great ideas and the costs involved are merge if compared to purchasing equivalent equipment. I am now building raised beds and a budget green house at a fraction of the cost if I had bought railway sleepers or an off the shelf green house.Instructions are clear and the book also provides a list of what supplies you need.

Suitable for Females.
I have bought project books in the past only to find that the author assumes you know what to do. This book is written by a female and the projects are directed at beginners as well as being suitable for a seasoned DIY'er. I had a look first and I found easy understandable instructions, good pictures of the end products. There are ways of upcycling what we've already got so that means low cost projects and some of the ideas are very practical and promote sustainable resources. I can't wait for the Spring to put some of these projects into action. This book will be used over and over again, I love dipping into it and making plans for my allotment.

For any DIY novice this is a must.
I took the decision to look to make items for my allotment as opposed to buy very expensive ready made items. This book takes you through every step of how to do it. Its like a recipe book for prior to you growing your produce to allow your produce to grow.Working through many projects and this is the bible for it.

Just in time for spring
Excellent book for anyone with a garden who wants to have a go at building all sorts of things to make it better. Clear instructions and great pictures. Can't ait to try something.

Some experience needed.
Some very good projects here, but despite the blurb's claim that "anyone can make" you do need to be at least a competent carpenter to make most of them.
