The decanter and cups feel thick and handmade. They are not entirely perfect which gives it charm. The spot for ice is perfect and works great. I love this set so much and it reminds me of the cups and decanters used when we visited Japan.

They had similar looking sake sets on a cruise I was recently on and I really liked the design for keeping sake cold with the little spot for ice. This functions the same but the quality isn't as nice as the ones on the ship. The glass on this is thick and bumpy in places and not as clear and sleek looking. You can see where the seams for the glass mold were. It works, it's just a bit lower quality and not as pretty.

This is a beautifully designed and well made sake set. The glass is sturdy and should hold up well under normal use, the bubble is a great way of chilling sake that needs to be chilled without diluting the drink, and it's the perfect size for two sake drinkers. You can also use the bubble for decorations if you prefer room temp sake, which is apparently what my cat prefers.Two minor quibbles that may or may not affect how much you want this set:There was a thin film of something covering the glass when it first arrived, which makes it problematic when giving it as a gift. If you have it delivered to your house for a local gift, it cleans up quickly and easily. If you are having it delivered to the recipient, maybe warn them ahead of time.The area inside the bottle that is beneath the bubble is nearly impossible to clean using any method other than hot water, swishing dish cleaner, and a prayer that all of the nasties are getting cleaned.

This was a gift to my boyfriend, I’m VERY upset, he was pouring the drink for the first time and the top came straight off without even touching it???? Glass shards went everywhere INCLUDING the expensive his parents bought. What the heck do I do to fix this!!!!

This is a nice, rather rustic looking sake set. I ordered this to add to my home bar collection of bar and liquor serving glass.I've never had a sake set before so wasn't sure what to expect, but this is charming. The glass is quite heavy and substantial; this is not a delicate set, and I like it that way: It looks more authentic like others I have seen online, when looking at these, after ordering this set.So special using this set with my take-out sushi.

This is a very functional & durable cold sake set. There's a hole for ice to keep your sake cold. The spout is on the opposite side of the hole so when your ice has melted a bit, it won't spill when you pour the sake. The glass has like a faint tempered look. It's not crystal clear glass, but the glass is thick. It's definitely made more for functionality use & longevity, rather than quality crystal clear barware. This set will last a lifetime that's how thick & durable the barware set is. This is a good set to gift for a beginner cold sake drinker. The sake glasses are a good size.

The media could not be loaded.  I don’t drink sake, so I’m not sure how it’s drink and maybe this does work for that and if it does, then my opinion wouldn’t matter because I’m going off of what I thought and what I wanted and what I didn’t get for some reason thought I was getting a caraff that I could put some ice in it and sit it out for a drink when I wanted to eat it would be cold from the ice and then when I got this, I couldn’t do anything but laugh. As you can see in my video I don’t get the point of this as the decanter is so small that you literally can drink straight from it and it would be empty with just a couple of gulps lol then you got the little glasses that look like shot glasses and don’t hold much. All I could think about was honey I shrunk the caraffe and now we have a decanter lol. It’s pretty well-made as you can see my video. I hit the two glasses together and they’re pretty thick so they won’t chip easily and the decanter two is pretty well-made so that part where you can put ice in it I can guarantee you probably can put in at the most for ice cubes which probably won’t keep it cold long but then again, who’s gonna have a drink in there long enough lol with that area where the ice goes that takes a lot of space away from the decanter itself. With all this being said, I’m not sure what I am going to do with this since I don’t have any useful right now, so probably as a gift I would recommend for those have the use for it and I guess who drink, soy or have other means of use for it I obviously do not recommend this for people like me who want a caraffe lol.P.S They contacted me for a full refund because I personally was dissatisfied so I gave them a full 5 stars mainly for their wanting to satisfy their customers.
