I thought my Bloody Mary's were good before, but this has taken them to a new level. I'm a pickle fiend and my Bloody Mary's always have some dill, pickles, or pickle juice hidden inside. This makes so that the pickle flavor is the first thing that touches my lips before the rest of the goodness. It's basically just salt and dill, but it's a great combo for your drink.The tub is large enough that you can use it on probably every type of glass. Wet the rim and stick it right in the container, do a few twists and you're good to go. The container seals well so you can keep it fresh for future uses.

The Twang Pickle Rimming Salt is just what my at home bloody mary needed to send it over the edge. I like making these at home, but often felt they were missing something that I just couldn't replicate. Enter in this rimming salt and it saved the day. It's tart and salty, just like a pickle, and goes perfectly with the acid and spice of a good cold bloody mary. I like that the container is large enough to handle the rim of all sizes of glasses, which makes it super easy to apply. I use a lemon or a lime (or even pickle juice) to wet the rim before applying. The salt comes in a sealed bag inside of the the plastic container which not only keeps it protected, but you can hold off on opening it until you're ready to use it so it stays fresh. I look forward to trying all of the different varieties of the rimming salt, if they're half as good as this one, my drink making abilities will be elevated.

This review is for the Twang Lime Rimming Salt TubIf you like your Margarita's at home made with an authentic restaurant style serving of lime and salt around the rim of your glass, then this product is just the thing. The salt is coarsely ground and full of a tangy lime flavor, it is speckled green and white. I emptied the sealed foil bag into the container then transferred enough salt on to the upturned lid where I could dip the rim of my glasses after wetting the rim with a segment of cut lime. The salt stuck nicely and gave a very sharp tangy and salty lime finish to the glass while enjoying the Margarita. I left most of the salt in the foil packet sealed with a clip and closed up in the plastic container, so hopefully it should last well for further cocktail nights.

This rimming salt tastes pretty good and if anything may be a little overpowering. I think this is good though because it means that a little goes a long way. I like that the dish is designed for easy dipping of a margarita glass. I, however, bought a really cheap glass that has very thick walls so it barely doesn't fit. If you cheap out on you glass you may till have to use a plate to dip the rim, but a good glass should fit perfectly.

I love Margiritas and this salt is the perfect addition for my rim! Love love love it!

I am not kidding- this is incredible! The salt is infused with not just lime, but a certain playful "twang", just as promised, and it was so good after testing a few grains on the tip of my tongue that I literally wanted to just eat the salt on its own! The only bad thing, if you can call it that, is that this is so FLAVORFUL it is hard to mix up a margarita worthy enough! I tried my hardest, but let me tell you, this lime salt was the best part, and by a lot! I 100% can never enjoy a margarita or other salt-rim drink without this mind-blowing flavor again! Not just recommended, I insist you do yourself the flavor! I mean favor! I mean flavor- wow!!

I dont like the tomato flavor at all; however, I’ve had other Twang rimming salt flavors and loved them. So, while I don’t like this one at all, I can’t say it’s a bad product. It’s just not for me.

This is a great-tasting lime flavored coarse salt which is perfect for applying to the rim of your Margarita glasses. I never dip the glass in the container of salt because you will end up with mold in the unused portion in no time. I pour a bit out into a small plate and use that to dip the glass into. Using about a quarter size piece of a fresh lime, run it around the rim of the glass and then dip the wet portion into the plate of lime salt until you have a nice, even coat. Don't pour the unused salt back into the container, though or you will end up with mold. This is a great price for the quality and quantity of this salt.
