Fun- quick and easy....not the best for two players as it is hard for the bad side to win...the investigator can heal way too easy.

We just received this game two days ago and have already played several sessions. One player is the human, up to 4 other players (total of 5 can play at once) play The Deep Ones. The Human's goal is to earn 8 victory points (mostly by saving other humans) and get to specific areas of the board, the Deep Ones' goal is obviously to stop that from happening. The card artwork is okay but repetetive (the Deep Ones' cards ALL have the same picture on them), the pawns are nicely done for both the deep ones and the human. The rules seem to be a little complex at first read, but after playing through once even my 7-year old son was able to play with no problem. One disappointment was that the cards are somewhat thin and a little flimsy (a shade thinner than a normal playing card). Overall we're pretty happy with this purchase. I will add that I was able to get this game for half of its usual list price (I paid $20.00 including S&H, rather than the usual $40-something price). It's a good game and I'm happy I was able to purchase it, but I wouldn't pay $40.00 for it.

届いたのでさっそく仲間と遊んでみました。ルールについてですが、日本語のルールも付いているので数回遊べば疑問点もなく、楽しく遊べました。使用するカードは英語ですが、日本語のシールが上から貼れるので問題無しです。原作を知っているので、ディープワンズがショゴスを召喚！？など、これは違うな・・というところが何点かありましたが、ゲームとしては楽しかったです。原作を知らない仲間も楽しめていたので、原作を知らない人でも十分楽しめると思います。ゲーム時間は人間側のプレイヤー次第ですが、３０分〜１時間ぐらいかと。教育的価値は不明なので星２つ。ボードが四つ折なのですが、折り目どおりにたたまずに、反対に折るなどすると破れやすいようなので星３つです。
