The DynaGrip DAP 27519 is a high-performance foamboard adhesive designed for both interior and exterior construction projects. It offers exceptional adhesion for insulation foam panels, ensuring a secure bond without damaging surfaces. With its instant grab feature, it simplifies installation, while being VOC compliant and meeting ASTM C557 standards.

Long cure time may make this a poor choice.
Be advised that this product takes over 24 hours to cure. Till it cures, the foam board will move.. I plan to try polyurethane (Gorilla) glue next time this type of project comes up. Cure time will be faster, and the product should be compatible with foamboard. I've been disappointed in some of the products from DAP recently.

Perfect Adhesive For My Project Using Pink Panther Formular Foam
Fast Delivery...Just the adhesive I need to use on the "Pink Panther Formular" foam board to build my molds for several "Prototypes" that I have designed and I am building. Note: I tried using "Super Glue" and it did not work because it melted the "Pink Panther Formular" foam..BAD NEWS!!!!!!!

Great adhesion, too much air in the tubes, though.
This stuff is terrific from the standpoint of adhesion, but their claim that it is 'easy to gun' is overly ambitious. At least half the tubes I've used, so far, have had an inordinate amount of bubbles, causing gaps, sputters, and big blurps, instead of the nice steady flow needed. When it's not 'airy', though, it does apply well with steady pressure. It spreads out well, and evenly when pressed into place, though it does slip until you can brace it.I made a batch of foam wedges, cut from the scraps of the 4'x8'x2" panels I'm using for insulation. Pressing it in place, up and down the center, out to the sides and and pushing the wedges into position at each corner, center of top and bottom, and two more up each side fairly evenly spaced. It calls for 24 hours to set, and 7 days to cure. I'm giving them 48 hours before removing the wedges, and all the panels are strongly set.I am using it to adhere Pink Foamboard to the inside of plywood siding, between the studs, leaving about a 1/2" average gap on all sides, to later come back and fill/seal with expanding foam, for 'the poor man's spray-foam' treatment in the shed-to-house project we are doing for our eldest and their small family. I will see how well it holds up to the application of the spray foam sealant next week. Since it's all cavities that open at the front, there should be little problem, except where I began with possibly too narrow a gap. We'll see! (See UPDATE below*)Anyway, as long as you have the time and patience to wait for it to fully set, and cure, I recommend this adhesive, though I hope they do some quality control work to address the pockets of air in the tubes.* UPDATE: All held fine even with the pressure of expanding foam applied on the sides, top and bottom. (to seal between the foamboard panels and the studs/sheathing.)
