This is a great book. I'm relatively new to reading music
This is a great book. I'm relatively new to reading music, so having simple pieces at the beginning followed by music with increasing difficulty made this the perfect book for improving my playing. The arrangements are absolutely lovely. As another reviewer noted, there were a couple of minor errors in the book--but I easily found Michael Walker's contact info online and shot him an email; he immediately emailed me updated pdfs. This is by far my favorite baritone uke book.

These tunes are fantastic - and there are so many of them
Wow! These tunes are fantastic - and there are so many of them! This is a great collection of pieces ranging from very easy to very advanced. The tablature makes these pieces playable by almost anyone. What a joy!

Avoid this book unless you want to rework the pieces yourself!
These are some of the most clumsy and confusing transcriptions I have ever seen. The notation is awkward; rests are often omitted when the piece makes use of two voices, pieces that are originally written in 2/4 are transribed in 3/4, and sometimes instead of using a pickup measure which the original has the entire piece is merely shifted by a couple of beats! The tablature uses some of the most awkward fingerings imaginable when far simpler alternatives are obvious and available. I purchased a couple of books by Michael Walker for baritone ukulele and they both suffer from these defects. It seems obvious that the author scanned in pieces and had a computer generate tablature based on some very inelegant parameters. The only good thing I have to say about these books is that it has given me an excellent opportunity to hone my own transcription skills while I correct the numerous errors found in these scores. Do not buy these books unless you want to rework all the pieces found therein. Caveat Emptor!!!

Lot of mistakes in this book and I don't like a lot of the arrangements
There are a lot of mistakes in this book and I don't like a lot of the arrangements. There are even places where the written notes don't match the tablature. I'd also like to see more of these books use the old-school string and fret notation on the music staff like the older classical guitar books do and get rid of the tablature thereby reducing the number of page turns needed. (So far I haven't found any ukulele books that do this. Sigh. )

DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE???
I am very frustrated with the time signatures and format of this book. It was meant to be relaxing but instead induced rage as I tried to figure out if I was just stupid for not being able to read it (I've been reading music since I was four years old) or if it is in fact just incorrect. If anyone can explain to me how this is supposed to work then I may change my rating. Also, I already wrote in the book as I was learning the first song or two so I probably won't be able to return it.

Gorgeous melodies
There's not much music for the baritone ukulele, so it was great to find these wonderful arrangements. Most are far too hard for me at the moment, but there are one or two that I can play even as a beginner and which motivate me to practise so that I can play the rest at some point.
