Glass never more!
After weeks of poor adhesion; then excessive adhesion with glue stick. I am done with my suffering. Perfect dimensions, flat and beautiful PLA first layer. I am a beginner and I was able to do it :)Recommended

Sheets work great
Both of the sheets that came in this pack, work great and I have no issues with PLA or PETG.

Helped with flatness but magnet not strong
Overall, this was a good upgrade considering it managed to help me get my bed flat within .05mm across the entire bed. It was slightly warped but I guess it matched up good to flatten it out. The bad part is the magnets are not that strong. I have to use clips to hold my pei magnetic bed.

Why didn't I buy this sooner?
It is super easy to install and now everything sticks. I haven't had any troubles with lifting during prints and when it cools the print pops right off. The carbon fiber pattern isn't that durable. I have a mark where I forgot to adjust my Z offset and the nozzle drug across it. I am happy that whatever the carbon material is it lets me print ASA and ABS without damaging it. I tried printing on patterned vinyl before and it melted to the print. This is a very worthwhile investment! I even love the regular PEI sheet pattern. It leaves a nice finish that hides the lines normally visible.

Great build plates
I use the carbon fiber one for TPU (It is still hard to remove, but sticks less that the other build plates, and does less damage). The other build plates are great for PLA (Smooth) and PETG (Rough). I'm still using them today, and with a little acetone cleaning once in a while, they should last a very long time (ONLY clean them when the bed is cold!)

This product is junk
Update: I would rate it at a ZERO star if I could!! I received a replacement. It was on my printer for less than 24 hours. Started a large 2 day print and the magnet pulled off the build plate about a 1/3 of the way through the print and the print as you can imagine failed. If you choose to purchase this item anyway, you have been warned, it will fail. I cleaned the Aluminum build plate with acetone this time to be 100% sure the surface was clean clean. Made zero difference. After I stopped the print and removed the spring steel build surface plate the magnet was stuck to the bottom of it. Sad to say the adhesive has less ability to stick than the actual magnetic force that attracts the spring steel build surface. I had read that someone else had experienced this issue as well. I thought maybe it was a one off thing and just a bad batch. I was wrong it is an integrated problem with the product and they are selling it knowing full well it is junk. Its been 4 weeks since i purchased this. After a week the magnet began losing adhesion to the aluminum build plate. Now that it has been 4 weeks it no longer sticks at all. The PEI plate has decent adhesion and I am ok with that. Problem is without the magnet backing to hold plate in place it has zero value. Currently I am using clips to hold it in place, but I have a new issue. Since the magnet no longer holds the plate down it causes prints to fail because it warps upward away from the build plate. Can't recommend this.

Adhesive for the magnetic sheet releases when the bed warms up
Whatever adhesive is used to adhere the magnetic sheet to your printer doesn't stay sticky when it warms up. If you print with a heated bed, the sticker releases and moves around. The PEI spring sheet will be firmly magnetic to the magnetic sheet, but it won't be attached to your printer anymore. When I pick up the PEI spring sheet after a print, the magnetic sticker comes off with it. The magnet is stronger than the glue.

Exactly what I needed
I hate trying to get prints off of a glass bed, so I got a pei bed which is great but I need a much smoother surface for some of my prints than what it could provide. The carbon fiber required a learning curve, but I love it. It provides ease of release, a super smooth surface, and a cool pattern visually. Highly recommended.
