I rarely stick with the same radio for long but this is a keeper.The noise reduction function is amazing, far away stations sound just like locals. The built in echo is really clear, with the right setting it really enhances transmit audio unlike many others I’ve had that muffle it. It has a choice of roger bleeps to annoy others when they get on my nerves, but mostly it’s turned off.There is a programmable button on the mic that can be set to perform one of many functions, mine is set to Noise Reduction.There is an easy mod for this radio to give up to 20 watts output and additional frequencies (24-31mhz), you will find it with a quick google.I drive an amplifier with this radio, the amp can take up to 10 watts input to get maximum output so with a little tweaking of the service menu I set medium power to 10 watts, perfect.The display is large and clear showing channel and frequency readout, signal meter, nr, echo, mode indicators etc.Menu functions are, roger bleep, mic gain, mic type,fm deviation (set it to 4k for loud tx audio), rf power, scan type, scan skip,vox,talkback,time out timer,anl and nb, hi cut, noise reduction, echo, alert, rf gain, offset, band, band name,emergency1, emergency2, mic function key, reset, display colour, brightness, key beep.I’ve owned pretty much every fm cb radio ever made and this stands up as one of the best I’ve had, as clear as a uniden or well filtered cybernet on receive with many more functions like a modern ssb radio. If I can find an ssb radio that performs as well as this I will buy it.

This radio is crystal clear and is packed with tons of features, I though only being £100, these features would be cheap and useless.How wrong I was, it easily competes with the big boys and looks and sounds amazing.You can personalise nearly everything from multiple roger bleeps to screen colours.CB may not be what it used to be but this radio sure makes it fun.

This little radio fits in the car with ease and has a great sound. After carrying out the very simple “mod” the radio is now opened up to the ham bands and has the option for up to 30w of power. The only thing missing is SSB but what more could you expect from a sub £100 rig. This is now my go to mobile radio.

A compact and stylish unit that comes with a car lighter plug fitted, a comfortable speaker microphone and mounting bitsOn test the Audio (once I set the mic sensitivity to max in the settings menu) was excellent on FM and 'typical to good' on AM.The receiver seems sensitive and on test into a precision load I saw exactly 4W output in either mode.It offers CTCSS or DCS tones, a choice of display colours and brightness, echo, roger bleeps, time outs, Vox Internal / External /Mic speaker, noise blanking /squelch,RF gain etc and most importantly the opportunity to turn down or off the keyboard tone which was darn loud as supplied. The internal loudspeaker was surprisingly loud and clear for this size of set.All the European country CB bands are selectable and if U (UK) is selected the AM/FM button press includes an extra step to select between UK FM, EU FM and EU AM. Neat !I wasn't able to find any other more technical menus but it seems to give all the options you need for simple daily use and works right out of the box. Excellent

I own a number of portable radios, this little unit is a keeper, AM and FM bands, EU and UK. Can be adapted to cover 10 to 12 meter Ham bands for license holders. Excellent build and audio quality.

Tal como viene es estupenda en simplicidad y funciones. Los clones de Jopix, CRT y Anytone no tienen Noise Blanker como esta, lo que es importante, ya que la CB es en general ruidosa. En origen da (casi) los 4 W legales de potencia. Se puede llevar hasta los 15 W simplemente por teclado (Menú Servicio), sin tener que abrir la radio, cambiar de sitio el jumper ni cortar el cablecito; es decir, sin perder la garantía (pero perdiendo la legalidad). Si la queréis emplear para CB, NO cortéis el cable blanco. Sin abrir la emisora, sólo por teclado ajustándola a 8 W, y transmitiendo en FM no llega a consumir 3 A. Es pequeña, ligera, y tiene alimentación por toma de mechero. Ideal para el coche, aunque válida como estación base. Incluye VOX, subtonos, Roger bip, y lo que quepa imaginar. Lógicamente no tiene SSB, modo en el que legalmente se permiten hasta 12 W (no hace falta licencia de radioaficionado en banda CB). Con SSB tenéis la Q80 en esta marca, u otras opciones equivalentes en CRT, Anytone o Dynascan (la más barata), casi todas superando los 200 € por bastante. También en President la Lincoln II y la Washington. No obstante, no sé de ninguna emisora autorizada para CB que tenga SSB y no pase de los 12 W legales.

Sehr tolles kleines CB Gerät mit vielen Funktionen auf der Höhe der Zeit. Leicht für Export bzw.AFU zu modifizieren. Saubere laute Modulation. Gute Verarbeitung. Fairer Preis. Das Rausch Reduction System arbeitet wirklich zuverlässig . Kaufempfehlung!

Leider ist die Bedienungsanleitung unzureichend. Für Neueinsteiger könnte das Gerät ein Buch mit sieben Siegeln bleiben.Überraschend für mich war, dass die Funktion "NR.SET" (Noise Reduktion) auch eine Einstellung für TX bietetAktiviert man NR im RX, so kann man beim Empfang eines schwächeren Signals hören, wie effektiv der DSP arbeitet.Das Rauschen wird soweit reduziert, dass man nicht mehr erkennt, wann der Teilnehmer der Gegenstation die PTT-Taste los lässt.Daraus ergibt sich auch der Sinn, warum das Gerät über einen Roger Beep verfügt.Sollten zwei Stationen mit solch einem Funkgerät ein QSO führen, wäre es sinnvoll den Roger Beep einzuschalten.Die Modulation des Gerätes ist klar und laut.

Super Preis/Leistung für den Preis ein sehr gutes Funkgerät mit vielen Funktionen gefällt mir sehr gut.

Ultra klein, Grosses Mehrfarbiges Display, Mega Saubere Modulation genau so wie bei der SS3900.Nachteil SQ / ASQ nur über Tasten zum Einstellen, aber der ASQ Funktioniert perfekt und man gewöhnt sich daran. Viele Filter im Menu zum Einstellen, der NRC ist super und bringt das Rauschen fast auf 0.Auch die Taste für Kanal9/19 kann man selber belegen wie man möchte, auch die mittel Taste am Mikrofon ist Programierbar, alles über das Menu ohne PC!Roger Peep Melodien sind nicht das was man sich vorstellt, aber ist jeden selber überlassen :-)Das Echo ist super Fein zum Einstellen und hebt die Modulation noch ein wenig besser in die Höhe (Einstellungs Tipp 8/11) , dann ist das Echo sehr sehr fein ohne das es die anderen Stört.Die 4 Watt auf AM/FM stimmen.Einsschalt Ton und Tasten Peep ist sehr laut und nicht zum Einstellen, entweder Ein oder Aus.Kabel vom Mikro ist lang und sehr Flexibel.Die Gerätehalterung ist sehr einfach und Stabil, aber Scharfkantig.Fakt ist das ich mit dem Gerät sehr zufrieden bin und es definitiv Empfehlen kann.Weitere Modifikation möglich.
