Just what I needed for my cook books in the kitchen. Sturdy and pretty, I love it. Thinking of getting a few for Christmas presents.

PROS-attractive design-hold up books ok (if they are upright, heavy books at any sort of an angle aren’t held in place, and forget about magazines)-they have foam feet, to protect the surface on which they are standingCONS-thinner metal than I’d like (they flex very easily)NOTES-Nice to have 4 of them, I’m using them on 3 different bookshelves (one set in pairs, and a single one on two different bookshelves)MY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

Theses are a really lovely metal design, and look elegant and stylish on display.The birds and trees cut out is very well machined, with no rough edges.The ends have small felt pads on the bottom to help grip and not scratch the shelf they are placed on, the lip is not too big, but big enough.If you have a shelf overflowing with books, this is the best option!The included sticky pads and magnet are a lovely touch and make the whole set a more giftable option.I would much prefer to receive more of these than yet another scented candle!!!

These book ends look very smart. I love the simple tree design. They are generally good quality with felt feet and no flaws. They are quite thin and lightweight but if you anchor them down with a heavy book they work fine.

They are constructed from metal, with no rough edges and they have 4 felt pads on the bottom of each bookend so they won’t scratch your shelves. They are a practical size too, large enough to hold average sized novels and the footplate is sized to hold books upright without slipping out.The inclusion of a pack of sticky notes and 2 smiley magnets is a nice touch too, you can stick notes to the bookends as they are metal, should you want to. Overall I am very pleased with these bookends and at £14.95 for 4, at the time of this review, they are really good value. I would recommend them to fellow bookworms. Hence 5 stars.

Die Buchstützen sind sehr dekorativ und praktisch, lediglich das Material ist etwas dünn. Daher ein Punkt abzug. Erfüllt aber seinen Zweck. Schnelle Lieferung.
