It actually works!
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for something that would help me get water out of my creek which is a little bit down a hill that wouldn't require me to run electricity down and install a pump. I wasn't sure about this but believe it or not it actually works. Now, a couple things you need to be aware of. One, you're not supposed to run this thing without any water running through it for more than 30 seconds which means if you're using a long hose, it's going to take longer than 30 seconds to prime it and you're going to start burning up the little rubber flaps inside that keep the compression. So you definitely want to use as short a hose as you possibly can. Secondly, they don't provide them and they don't even recommend them but you're definitely going to want to use hose clamps on any joint where you use one of the brass fittings they provide. Because, the more you can prevent additional air coming into the system, the better your pressure is going to be. Like significantly different. I found that pretty much any drill will work, although I did notice that once my battery started dying on my portable drill, it would no longer hold compression and pump steadily. So there must be a speed at which it keeps enough suction to prevent the water from back flowing. Certainly an electrical drill will work and I've tried two different battery operated hand drills and they both work as well. The flow is actually pretty decent about what you'd get from having your hose on about halfway, which is not bad. I guess my only concern is durability. We'll just have to say about that. So far though it does what it says it will do.

Really sucks (It is supposed to)
I have not used it much but I have tested it enough to see that it does its job. It can be a bit hard to hold the pump, hose and drill all at the same time so I plan to make a mount or stand for the pump and weight the hose with something.

Efficient Water Transfer Solution for Imperfect Pumping Situations
Living in Southern California, recent heavy rainfall prompted me to seek out a solution for draining excess water from certain work areas areas of my patio. After some research, I decided to pick up the EXTRAUP Portable Self Priming Mini Hand Drill Water Transfer Pump Kit. Here's my experience with this handy tool.First and foremost, let's address the initial impression when attaching the pump to a drill chuck. At first, it may seem like the shaft is jammed. To be sure, it won't turn easily by hand, but that's because it's not a toy and is designed to be operated with a drill. Once the drill is turned on, the pump functions smoothly, efficiently transferring water without any issues. It's worth noting that running the pump dry for an extended period can lead to overheating, so it's essential to avoid doing so.The kit comes with various adapters, allowing for versatility in connection options. While I primarily used garden hose connections, the included adapters provide flexibility to adapt to different hose sizes or other fittings as needed. The molded garden hose connection on the pump body indicates its standard usage, which simplifies setup for most users. In terms of performance, the pump exceeded my expectations. While I didn't have a large volume of water to transfer, it efficiently removed the excess water in a matter of seconds. Although I couldn't fully test its maximum pumping capacity, it's clear that this pump is capable of handling significant water transfer tasks with ease. One aspect that impressed me was the thoroughness of the pumping action. Despite the brief duration of operation, the pump effectively cleared the water, leaving the area dry and ready for further work. This efficiency speaks to the pump's design and functionality, making it a reliable choice for various water transfer applications. As for potential drawbacks, one consideration is the need to avoid running the pump dry for extended periods. Overheating can occur if the pump is operated without water flow, so it's important to ensure that there's always water present during operation. Additionally, while the pump comes with adapters for different connections, it's always a good idea to double-check compatibility with your existing setup. The EXTRAUP Portable Self Priming Mini Hand Drill Water Transfer Pump Kit is a reliable and efficient solution for water transfer tasks. Its ease of use, versatility, and impressive performance make it a valuable addition to any homeowner's toolkit. While I haven't encountered any significant challenges during my testing, I'll update this review if I have the opportunity to put it to the test under more demanding circumstances. Overall, I'm satisfied with the pump's performance and would recommend it to others in need of a reliable water transfer solution.

Simple Pump
This is a simple pump for any non flammable liquids. Tested out speed and capability in the kitchen by pumping the water from one sink to another using a low quality hand drill. Pump works fairly quickly and without much effort. This would be ideal for any situation where you need to transfer or drain water from one location to another. Build quality seems pretty solid at first inspection, and if properly cared for this should last a very long time with occasional use. For the price this is a great purchase and suggested for home owners.

Works good
Used it to transfer coolant between containers. It worked perfect for that. Ran the drill at the lowest speed and that was adequate enough for the pump to operate.
