Adapter Upgrade for Bauer 20V Cordless Tools - Compatible with Milwaukee M18 Red Li-Ion Batteries for Power Supply, No Charging Function - (New Version) - Adapter Only

The media could not be loaded.  I picked this up because I have several M18 batteries for my Milwaukee tools, but I have found the Bauer 20V tools from Harbor Freight to be a great value, especially for tools I use less frequently. I tested the adapter with the Bauer Brushless 4.5in angle grinder and SDS Rotary Hammer drill, and it worked with both tools. In the video, I compare how the rotary hammer sounds using the adapter with a Milwaukee CP3.0, a Bauer 5AH battery, and an aftermarket M18 6.0 with the adapter. I couldn’t tell the difference between the Bauer and the Milwaukee battery, but the aftermarket M18 battery seemed to give a bit lower pitch, so I’d think it isn’t able to get as much power through the adapter.The adapter is not intended for charging the batteries, so you’ll still need to use a M18 charger. The adapter fits well on both the Bauer tools and on the M18 batteries. It certainly adds some height to the stack, so it probably isn’t the best for use in tight spaces. The quality seems to be fairly good, and it slides onto the tools easily. I still prefer to run the intended batteries on the tools, but I think it’s a great thing to have in the bag just in case.
