Gnomes and Sneezes: Zoey and Sassafras #10

My daughter absolutely loves this series. Great combo of science and imagination.

My granddaughter has read all the books in this series. She relates to the main character. I love that the protagonist comes from a supportive family, rather than a single family, or orphaned. Mom is a scientist and dad is supportive. But, I digress. The book ramps up it's language level difficulty with each book in the series, so it's good to start from the beginning. It takes the reader through scientific thought processes that are age appropriate, using the scientific method. And... added bonus. The protagonist's sidekick is her cat. HIghly recommend, as a teacher of lower elementary and as a grandparent.

We were given this series as a gift, and quickly read through them all and purchased the most recent publication. A young girl has the ability to see and communicate with magical creatures, and uses science experiments to figure out what health issues they have and how to heal them. Very good examples of empathy, kindness, problem solving, scientific method, accepting mistakes, and making friends.

My nine year old has loved this series for several years. We pre-ordered this one when I found out it was getting published. There was a delay in the shipment, but it was still worth it. The book is fun, sweet, educational, and enjoyable to read out loud.

Family enjoys this series and this book is good like the rest.
