A Lifesaver for DIY Suspension Work โ Great Value and Solid Build
I bought the Orion Motor Tech Inner Tie Rod Removal Tool Kit to replace the inner tie rods on my Honda Accord, and Iโm glad I did. This kit made the job WAY easier and saved me a trip to the shop. What I Liked: โ Wide Compatibility: The 12 crowfoot adapters included in the kit cover a huge range of vehicles. Iโve used it on both domestic and import models, and itโs worked flawlessly every time. The size range (1-3/16โ to 1-5/16") is perfect for most common inner tie rods. โ Sturdy Construction: The tool itself feels solid and well-made. The steel tube is heavy-duty, and the crowfoot adapters lock into place with no wobble or slop. I torqued on it pretty hard and never felt like it was going to fail. โ Easy to Use: Just slip the correct adapter onto the tie rod, slide the tube over it, and use a 1/2โ ratchet or breaker bar. Thatโs it. No need to fight with a pipe wrench or try to rig something up with pliers. It makes what can be a frustrating job surprisingly straightforward. โ Compact and Organized: It comes in a nice blow-molded case that keeps everything organized. Easy to toss in your toolbox or bring on the road if youโre doing mobile repairs. What Could Be Better: โ The case latches feel a little cheapโnothing major, but something to be aware of. โ Instructions are basic. Not a big deal if youโve done this kind of work before, but beginners might want to watch a quick YouTube video first. Final Verdict: If youโre planning to do tie rod workโeven just onceโthis tool pays for itself. It saves time, prevents damage, and makes the job a lot less frustrating. For the price, quality, and functionality, itโs an excellent addition to any DIY mechanicโs tool arsenal.

Worth the purchase if doing inner tie rod ends
Works well found that using a breaker bar works better than a impact drill. Holding it all in place is little tricky.

Works great!
This tool worked great! I struggled to get the inner tie rods off of my Subaru Crosstrek. With most vehicles itโs not so tough, but this car has very little space to work.

Great price and solid fitment
Solid tie rod remover. The crowfoot fits snug, the lock collar was easy to turn with two fingers and leaves no room for slop in the fitment. Recommend an adjustable jack stand, piece of rubber and silicone spray to support the end while allowing controlled pressure to spin.

Not worth it.
This was a pain in my behind. The top kept popping off every time I tried to turn it. It ended up being no help at all for me.

May not work on all inner tie rods
This tool seems like a quality product and Iโm sure works fine, it just didnโt work on my 2007 Honda Odyssey. The inner diameter of the tool is to narrow for the inner tie rod on the 07 Honda Odyssey. Not sure if all Hondaโs tie rods are the same diameter. I wish they would list the dimensions of the tool on the listing so you would have an idea if it will work on your particular vehicle. I ended up buying a version of this tool from Harbor Freight which worked on my Honda. I gave it 5 stars because it looked like itโs made fairly well and will get the job done but I really donโt know without being able to use it. My Odyssey has 205000 miles and inner tie rods were not that hard to get off so Iโm sure this tool is more than capable.

Does exactly what it is supposed to
Worked great, easy to use and worth having just due to the time this saved over messing about with clamps or vise grips. Certainly cheaper than using a local garage. Used on a Hyundai i10 to remove and replace inner tie rod.

Excellent product! Fit exactly on my 2005 Buick Allure CX 3.8L to remove inner tie rod.
Excellent product! Worked exactly as described to remove my inner tie rod end on my 2005 Buick Allure CX 3.8L. There are several videos on YouTube that I used to help me complete the replacement. I watched these before I began. I had to hack saw off the RHS tie rod because the outer tie rod adjusting nut was fused to the outer tie rod. I couldn't get it to turn, no matter how hard I tried and no matter how much head I applied. A YouTube video showed the same issue. It's wise to use Woolwax or another rust-proofing treatment to prevent the adjusting nut from seizing to the outer tire rod and also to protect the threads of the inner tie rod end, just in case you need to make an alignment in the future for any reason. Be sure to lock your steering wheel to one side before you remove or install the inner tie rod. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left to remove the right-hand side and vice versa for the left-hand side. This protects the pinion and rack gears from breaking. This tool was perfect. Highly recommended.

Pays for itself the first time
Worked well for my need on a Dodge Ram. I am worried it will eventually bend as the metal on the shaft and wrench ends is weak. But for occasional use it is perfect. It saved me over |$100 on the first repair so it is worth it.
