Fire Starter
This made a better camping stove than electric toothbrush charger. The label on the bottom of the product indicates the charger accepts 110V to 240v. To test it, I attempted to recharge my Oral B toothbrush using a standard US input voltage of 120v. Initially the toothbrush was recharging but when I returned after 1-hour had elapsed, the charger and the toothbrush were too hot to hold. I unplugged and left both outside in the driveway in anticipation of a fire. Surprisingly the toothbrush wasn't permanently damaged but my house could have burned down if I wouldn't have checked back when I did. This charger went to the landfill where it belongs. Recommend looking elsewhere.

Charger Replacement for Oral B Electric Toothbrush
I bought this charger ro replace my current charger. The original charger could not be used with 220v. Now I have one that works with 110v and 220v.

Perfect Replacment

Charger runs warm
This third party Oral B Charger from China runs warm and they know it. They state to remove the toothbrush from the charger when charged. You plug it in to use it. You put your toothbrush on it to charge. You come back to it later and the toothbrush is charged up and very warm to the touch. You remove it from the charger. Later you check the temperature of the charger. It is warm without a toothbrush on it. You unplug it. When this charger is plugged in it runs warm and it transfers that warmth to the toothbrush you place on it to charge.It seems that all Oral B Chargers are junk. The factory chargers which only work in the US die in a few years. I'm on my second genuine Oral B charger that only works on 120 volts. The Amazon Oral B chargers rated for universal voltage 100 to 240 volts I've tried before this one died when used on 240 volts. This one runs warm on 120 volts. What will happen when used on 240 volts? Will this one die like the others after a use or two?
