This is an item that SHOULD BE included by DJI as standard equipment in their Adventure Combo rather than the cheap, stick only model. The PGYTECH covers 99 percent of my needs when traveling. With a couple of inexpensive adapters, I can use my standard photo accessories as well. I've tossed the DJI stick in my desk drawer and use the the PGYTECH exclusively now. I love this thing!

These look like they were made for each other! Very well made. Adds so much versatility to the Pocket 3! I even fit this and the whole Creator set in my perfect little Skyreat case by shifting a couple things around. I store it on top of the battery extender handle, upside down. Works like a dream! The 3 together can’t be beat.Yes, some of the materials are plastic, but don’t let that fool you. This thing is a tank, and it shows up to get the job done!

Recently got an Osmo Action for a trip to Disney and was looking for something to bring along as a go to tool. This little handheld tripod was great, hit all the expectations I had and felt super comfortable using it throughout.Attaching the camera is very simple, theres a small bolt that extends through the bottom of your action case and the tripod itself. It fits in a specific direction, meaning you need to twist to manipulate it, ensuring it goes in the right direction and is secured with a push down lever that locks it in place. The camera itself can tilt when attached, forward and backward, to modify angles if needed. The camera itself stays quite secure even when shaken up and down.The telescoping component is really solid too, I must have opened and closed a few hundred times at this point and still holds strong at the various levels. I found myself extending out the the first level for much of my time using it, holds strong and never had any slippage or anything from one level to another.The tripod component is pretty cool. Its the handle itself and pops apart into a three way stand. As a handle it holds together quite well when in use. To separate, just need to pop open at the bottom and extend the three components and place down. stays open and steady when in use, and when done the pieces come back together just with the gravity and click together magnetically at the bottom of the handle.Really great product, I enjoyed using it throughout the trip and since. Keep in mind if you're unware, this is not a gimble, so it will not compensate for motion (though the rocksteady on the camera will handle that for you). Also as an aside, I was concerned I wouldn't be allowed in Disney with it. Never had an issue, went through security checkpoints and used on rides at times - no issues whatsoever. I would not be obnoxious about it but if you have concerns I did not have any issues.

I actually had to send it back because it would not fit in my camera hard case which was my fault but this was a very sturdy and well built product. I loved it right from the start and it was very versatile. It would extend as a tripod and was plenty tall. I wish I could have kept it but I had already bought the case that I liked. I would definitely buy it again if it had worked for me....

When I opened the box, a couple of audio connectors rubber banded together seemed to fall out. I attempted to attach my DJI Osmo Action camera to the unit, but could not screw in the industry-standard GoPro tightening screw. I tried three different such screws with no luck - nothing would screw in. I was putting everything back in the box to return to Amazon and noticed what fell out weren't audio connectors, they were pins that you use instead of industry-standard screws. A couple of seconds later, everything was correctly assembled. It was nice two such pins were provided, rubber banded together. The camera seems a little loose, but I believe that is normal. Gaskets are provided to help tighten up thecsmera. I won't be using it as a selfie stick, just on a stationary desktop. All-in-all, five stars. Just don't look for much documentation. But, once you understand the unit uses their proprietary pins rather than the tightening screws every other product uses, you are good to go. I hope this helps and saves you 20 minutes of trying to figure out why the screws don't work.

I figured their own extra accesory cold shoe could be stored on the side so you don't need to carry it separately. While trying to push it in, it cracked. Apparently this quick-insert-shoe is unique only for the top of it, not to be used for the side. I reached out to the vendor, and after asking for pictures and order number, they gave me NO information whatsoever and told me to talk to Amazon... Pathetic product support.If it could extend more that would be more useful, but it's a little tippy at it's current weight and stance.There is also no loop hole to put a lanyard or wrist strap to.

PGYTECH's products have been getting so good over the past year or so, this Extension Pole and Tripod is no exception. I bought this one to use with my Osmo Action and it works perfectly. They include the extension pole / tripod unit, an action mount to 1/4"-20 adapter so you can use it with a standard tripod mounted camera, 2 locking pins (more on that in a second) and some gaskets in case a 3rd party accessories are too loose in the mount.So the locking pins PGYTECH has come up with instead of a screw connection is absolute genius, simply slide the locking pin in, turn it a-quarter-turn and press the came down and the camera is locked into place, quite well too I might add. To use the tripod simply flip the legs out that are integrated into the handle and extend the first portion of the extension pole slightly to use it. The tripod legs have rubberized feet to keep it in place. Overall an excellent tripod, you can't go wrong with this one, nice job PGYTECH!

Ho molti prodotti della PGYTECH e sono super soddisfatto della qualità che offre, se si acquistano in offerta sono allora un ottimo investimento non trovo difetti da evidenziare se non altro di acquistarlo questo è un treppiede ottimo e robusto. La qualità di percepisce non appena estratto dalla scatola. Ha come caratteristica il fatto che è veramente poco ingombrante, sta nella piccola borsa da serbatoio della moto o addirittura in tasca. Super consigliato.

I purchased this tripod, to replace the small tripod that comes with the DJI OSMO POCKET 3. The main thing I liked about this tripod, is the secure lock on the hot shoe, you won’t need to over tighten anything, as the build quality is superb. Worth the money, especially for DJs who need a stable table top tripod for their action cameras, or OSMO Pocket 3’s.
