Fabulous OBD2 tool with added battery tester bonus
This is a great tool for the home or auto shop. Easy to use. Color screen. Comes with a very detailed instruction book with step by step instructions on operation. Plugs in and powers up ready to go. The battery tester cable plugs in and is easy to use. I have used sever different OBD2 scanners over the years and this is by far the best I have ever seen. Highly recommend.

Works for car battery testing
I haven't tried all the functions of this device as a full OBD2 scanner yet, but it works fine for testing car batteries and that is a good start. I will update my review once I use this more.

Works great
This is a nice little scan tool. Obviously it's not bidirectional, but it does offer quick code readings. You can also erase codes and view live data. No hardcore diagnostics will be done with this tool, but it's good enough for most jobs.The battery tester leads are a nice addition. We check every vehicle's battery that comes into our shop, this tool makes it easy.

2012 Ram 1500 Not listed specifically- Reads codes fast-No additional help stored
Pulls codes extremely fast but no additional info other than code number and initial description. Successfully clears codes and reads temp and permanent codes.Battery cable is just long enough to reach the cab to perform certain charge system test starting truck and reving. I can't say without having a comparable analog meter whether or not my results are accurate. Battery clamps are decent but won't open wide enough to fit around large connectors. The clamps do have strong springs so they don't move much when attaching onto the bolt heads or misc less sure areas. Overall its a nice little unit and I like it better than my bluetooth unit that I paid entirely too much for
