Makes tap water taste better
I didn’t realize how much of a difference a filter could make until I got this bottle. It’s super easy to use, and the water tastes so clean and fresh—I can’t go back to regular tap water now. The size is perfect for carrying around all day, and the light green color is really nice, not too flashy. I love that I don’t have to worry about things like chlorine or weird stuff in my water anymore. It’s just simple, clean, and convenient. Honestly, I take it everywhere now. Definitely recommend!

It holds water
As a water bottle, this item works perfectly, insomuch as it's a bottle that holds water. More specifically, it'll hold about 700ml, so if you're aiming to drink about 2l a day (which you should be, according to the experts), then you'll be wanting to neck about three of these a day. It's well designed and well put together, though bitter experience tells me that they don't survive being dropped on the floor. I'm on my third bottle in 6 months, but that's due to my cack-handedness rather than any manufacturing defect. The bottle can be used one handed - you can pop the catch with your thumb and the mouthpiece, which clicks down to form a waterproof seal, can be pulled up with your teeth, assuming your gnashers are in good order. While it's snapped down (and closing the lid pushes it down for you) the bottle is completely watertight - assuming you've screwed the the lid down appropriately, there's no danger of it leaking, even if it's bouncing around in a bag.The instructions say that the filter disc (of which one was provided with the bottle) should last for around a calendar month and my experience bears this out, though I'd recommend taking the lid apart and washing it about once a week. If you don't, then you can get a build up of something unpleasant under the white mouthpiece. It pulls off to make cleaning easier. The only downside is the cost of the discs - prices may change but at the time of writing, a pack of three means running costs of around 90p a week.Still - that does encourage you to make use of it, and we could all do with drinking a bit more water.

Great bottle but black particle leaks from filter
I like that the flow of water is really smooth and does not produce the weird sounds like most sport water bottles with the same spout. However, I find that cleaning can be fiddly at the end of the day as I have to take the filter out to keep aside then replace later on. I have also noticed small black particles (not sure what this is) on the underside of the top lid which connects directly to the spout.Overall a great bottle, easy to assemble and use.

I love this SO much
I hate the taste of tap water, this is delicious I wasn’t expecting such a massive improvement! So water tastes great, the bottle itself is fab it’s light, sturdy and very easy. The disc is super easy to fit the lid is nice and secure and I’ve already ordered another one (to keep in the fridge) my water intake has doubled overnight. Only “downside” is the cost of replacement discs BUT a disc last a long time and I’m so impressed with this I’ll live with it.

Excellent product - leakproof, and taste-free water!
Great product - I have three of these, as I drink lots of water and like to have more than one bottle to hand! Excellent quality - definitely leak proof, I’ve traveled with these in my handbag and on longer trips in a backpack, and never had a leakage from any of the 3 bottles I own. Most importantly the filter is excellent and there is no taste to the water once filtered. I can’t bear the taste of tap water, so was buying bottled water until I bought these bottles. I was desperate to cut my single use plastics and thankfully I have by being able to refill these bottles with tap water - I’ve also obviously saved money in the process. Maybe it’s also worth a mention that I only ever handwash the bottles in warm soapy water - it does say that they’re dishwasher proof, but I haven’t tested this!

Brilliant!
Brought this for my son who drinks water all day and through the night and was fed up with glasses full of water being tipped over and getter wet carpets. Good size and really nice design.

Good idea
Bought this for a sister trip to Egypt. Was perfect as bottled water was not always within easy reach, and no tummy upsets. My sisters also bought theirs and easy to identify each one as we picked different colours. I like that you can use it with or without a filter. At home (UK) I can use tap water and add fresh lemon.

Awkward and didn't last
This waster bottle is very good for improving the taste of tap water, however, I wasn't pleased with mine. It has a tendency to leak slightly and the lid is in an awkward position when open. I especially struggled when doing exercise. It is also not dishwasher safe so has to be hand washed. This isn't normally an issue however, when doing so I accidentally lost the little rubber bung, which turned a slight leak into a big one. This was entirely my fault, however, brita don't sell replacement parts so I ended up having to throw the bottle.Instead of this one, I would buy the sports version. Same capacity, same taste, zero leaks and no awkward flip lids. It is also dishwasher safe and the little rubber bung for the air hole is much more secure. All round a better design.
