Empties fast , I have another brand pump that takes 3 times as long as this on about 20 mins to empty my hot tub which is great for cleaning it . It's great value and makes little noise and performance well and fits in most water tanks as it is submersible

The media could not be loaded. Works brilliant and really fast too! I had to look at the instructions for abit to make sure all was ok, got other parts too, only if you use a hose! Anyway I just throw it in and job done .. very happy with this purchase, 5 x in my opinion.

I was dissapointed seeing the box say it needed 2cm of water when the blurb on the selling page had not specified this...given that the draining hole on my 12 foot bestway pool gets you down to about 4 cm by gravity I wondered if it would make the job of clearing the rest any easier.It did!Despite the remaining water being a bit turbid with leaves and insects etc and clumps of algae the pump worked efficiently and rapidly cleared the water. Once it had reduced to separate small pools of water at different places in the pool (I have sand underneath so it's not a totally flat base) I stood inside sweeping water from the other sides of the pool towards it with a mop and as you can see from the photo the pump kept working until the tiniest puddle was all there was left. As it got shallower I had to keep moving it to clear the debris collected around the slots where the water is drawn.Im not sure if some debris has gotten inside, or if anything small enough to go through the slots is small enough it got pumped right through. It would be reassuring if there was a way to easily remove the bottom tray to remove any stuck debris.Next step after that photo is to get inside and give it a good clean, which will be easier now I can use a hosepipe to wash it down and dont have to worry about the amount of new water I'm adding that I'd otherwise have had to bail out again myself.One downside is the weight of the machine isn't sufficient to keep it firmly on the bottom of the water (even when the water's only a few inches deep) which meant it moved around a bit sometimes tilted exposing one side of the slots and making it gurgle.Another big downside is the need to turn it on and off at the wall. It has a huge cable which is a pleasant suprise after all the pumps and heaters which have cable too short to reach inside (but at the same time tell you not to use an extension cord and not to have a plug socket too close to the pool!). Given that you are supposed to turn it off when the water gets too low that it struggles you struggle if you're on your own, a second person to shout to to turn it off would make this easier, if you're on your own you just have to get it slipping around in bare wet feet...

Right I do not leave many reviews but this is amazing. We have a large intex above ground pool. I drained it using the plugs on the pool last October. But last year due to health problems I couldn’t collapse the pool. So it stay up. I never used a mains drain pump before. I had this pool for 6 years. So I first tried the pump inside in my bath. It so quiet and fast. I then used it on the pool. I first netted out all the mess. Then used this. After hour the pool was empty. I then cleaned and wiped out the pool before refilling it. I will need a longer pipe as my sides of my pool is five foot tall.But I wish I bought this years ago. Great piece kit

I used this pump to empty my hot tub and it's the best item I have bought to do that I would rate it more than 5 stars but that's all it gives u

I dont ever leave reviews but this one was worth it! I tried a few different options and none impressed me...this was the cheapest product so I didn't hold out hope but I am DELIGHTED with it

Bin von der Pumpe bisher begeistert. Ich lasse sie nicht den gesamten Pool (14.000 l) leerpumpen, sondern nur den Rest, der durch das Ablassventil nicht entleert werden kann. Aber das macht sie einwandfrei und ohne Störungen. Verstopft nicht, obwohl noch einige Blätter im Restwasser schwammen. Das Stromkabel ist überraschend lang. Der Schlauch könnte ein wenig länger sein, reicht aber aus - man könnte ihn ja auch noch verlängern.Deutlich rückenschonender als ein Eimer 😁.

Mi serviva una pompa per svuotare il fondo di una piscina fuori terra da 3x4 mt. dopo aver fatto uscire l'acqua dal tappo rimane sempre un'altezza di 10 cm circa di acqua da buttare via col secchio, attività abbastanza stancante, che richiede quasi un paio d'ore. Questa pompa funziona perfettamente e mi evita tutta la fatica. Certo il costo non è bassissimo, circa 70 euro, ma non ho trovato niente di più economico. Nella confezione c'è un bel tubo lungo per lo scarico ed un cavo elettrico anche bello lungo. Soddisfatto, bisogna vedere quanto dura, ma per questo ci vuole tempo.

Non male come pompa... Unico difetto è che ho dovuta tenerla fissata con un peso sul fondo della piscina in quanto la potenza di aspirazione la fa ribaltare x cui non può stare immersa se solo appoggiata. Cmq fa benissimo il suo dovere e ci ha risolto una bella sfacchinata di svuotamento che prima facevamo a mano 🤦🏻‍♀️
