16 Gauge 925 Sterling Silver Wire 1.3mm Half Soft Hard (Round 5 Feet)

Ok so just wanted to make sure everyone knows before ordering. People are getting upset by the size sent. But if you look when you order there are sizes. If you don't choose a size they will send the first one because it's naturally highlighted. That's only a very thin wire so I can see why people get upset. However that's not the seller. We have to choose the size. So before buying this make sure you scroll through and pick which size you want and hardness if that's in the. options. Hope this helps you

This is a high-quality package of wire. It's one long piece that's easy to clip and easy to mold. This is great for beading or wire art. I'm sure there is a variety of ways this can be used. I just know that as a bead worker and wire artist, this product is very easy to use. 5 stars all the way.

My local craft stores really don't have much in the way of higher end wire so this is a nice option to have available. I appreciate the multiple sizes to choose from and it's nice that a polishing cloth is included in the bag. The gauge I choose is pretty easy to manipulate by hand but holds its shape well, as expected. The price seems reasonable for the quality of silver and how much you get and it's a large enough piece to actually do a fair amount. I'm pretty happy with it so far.

I received wire closer to 32 gauge, not the 28 gauge I ordered. I would never have ordered 32 gauge at this price. I would return it, but it’s really not worth the trouble. The wire is sterling and in good condition, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. I image they might try the same thing with other size wires, so I would steer clear of this seller.

I compared this wire to sterling silver that I already have at home that I purchased from a verified and reputable jewelry supply company - for some reason the sterling silver looks a bit dull. I almost thought at first that this was not sterling silver. I have no way to test or verify at home as far as I know, but I don't know if I'll be purchasing from this vendor in the future. The wire is decently packed in a resealable bag with a polishing cloth. For some reason, and it could be my own high expectations, I'm just a bit underwhelmed.

This is a strong, thick silver wire. It’s gorgeous. I plan to use it for silverpoint drawing on gesso board, and will update w/ pics once I do. I might use some in jewelry making, too. I keep wanting to texture it up with a small hammer to make it varied and interesting for some 3D art form.
