the scent does not full sink out

good product, works well. I did notice a small pin hole hole at bottom of glass that separates it but doesn’t go all the way through where it leaks so I’m happy. I also would be careful not to screw on too tight because if you strip the wood it won’t close properly. Would buy again

back in high school in the 80s, my classmate got an awesome black 3-series and we were all in lust (it was soph year and driver's license time for all of us). I'll nevr forget it, he had what looked like a cologne bottle on his dash and the car smelled heavenly! like cologne. Ever since then (31 yrs) - i've been trying ot chase down this car cologne for my cars. (it isn't made anymore). iv'e trade so many things and ways to re-create what he had..i finally found a glass jar that could double as a "cologne jar" that was wide enough to be stable when i put it in my center console, sticing in wood "diffusers" from a bathroom air freshener diffuser to hopefully do the same in my car as it did in my bathroom. OOPS! in CA summer sunny days the glass melted the plastic of my car i laid it on and got ugly. (but it smelled good). I was close!Then i bumped into this cute little product.. AH HAH! A hanging glass bottle diffuser - no more melting things in the hot summer! a diffuser to make my car smell good! Now i just need to find the formula to put in the bottle to make it smell like cologne!Oops. This bottle will AT FIRST diffuse the scent (essential oils). If i tap it like a pendulum to get the airflow thru it it will diffuse the scent some more. But except for the initial scent from a fresh refill - it doesnt' seem to diffuse anything and I can't smell anything. The oils in the bottle last forever ... becsuse it's not diffusing!So.. back to the drawing board. Theoretically this contraption is beautiful and should work terrifically! UNfortunately the wood or cork top just doesn't diffuse for whatever reason. Oh wyeah. and when i transferred it to/from my car in a bag - .. uh oh... a lot of the essential oils leaked into my bag. My BAG smells incredible now!!!! But mhy car doesn't smell like anything.The hunt continues for how to recreate Car Cologne!

I absolutely love this diffuser for my car. It is perfect. I've tried other car diffusers that did not disperse the scents of essential oils as good as this does. And the extra bonus is, I always have my favorite essential oil in my car :) I highly recommend this product. Well done!

My car stopped smelling after two weeks. I tried using essential oils but the entire strength of the oil would be weakened in a week and gone in two but the container would still be filled with oil. You have to keep shaking it in order to smell something Everytime you get into your car. I wouldn't go with this. It clogs up and unless you clean it every week it's useless.
